We went through 2 interviews/conversations with Boundless to align on our marketing needs and get a proposal that met our needs. We were looking for someone who had some experience marketing in health and wellness industry and had a data orientation in digital marketing. We also needed marketer to be experienced in Hubspot and Shopify

We first focused on advertising of our curated supplement brands along with social media post support and some email nurture automation. We then advanced the same focus when we launched our own brand of supplements

We worked with the marketing company CEO and a marketing manager assigned to our account by the CEO

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The boundless team did a very good job in optimizing top of the funnel ads and generate over 1300 leads. Being highly data focused, they were able to optimize the CPC average between $0.70 - $0.90 across all our ads. They also helped us find some early conversion traction.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We met every Tuesday and they did a good job at a standard and brief report out of the performance metrics and recommendations. Communication was very effective and the team was very responsive which was a delight.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We loved the focus and commitment by the Boundless team to do everything they could to help us succeed. They also were candid in their feedback and did the best they could to guide us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They did a good job for us. I suggest that they continue to improve the focus on understanding the customer (personas) better.

Boundless drives our paid social campaigns on Facebook (and launching LinkedIn soon), as well as our paid search campaigns on Google. While managing a platform, they build out funnels, including top, middle, and bottom of the funnel campaigns to help us drive sales.

We have an account manager who drives our paid efforts and projects forward.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Boundless quickly jumped into optimizations and identified new key areas of opportunities. For Facebook strategy, they have leveraged the power of lookalike audiences to quickly identify and scale the right audiences that were eager to learn more and purchase our cutting-edge technology. They have also optimized our retargeting strategy. Right now, we are seeing a great volume of conversions on Facebook, paying a low CPA on warm audiences and a reasonable CPA on cold audiences.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have multiple meetings weekly, some are more specific to certain projects, while others are with a broader team. Boundless reports on a weekly performance of paid ads as well as pitching new ideas for optimization and expansion. They are responsive and easy to work with.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They will not stop optimizing and improving the ads performance. Always looking for new opportunities and areas of improvement. They come up with a lot of ideas on their own and are always open to suggestions and feedback.

After a kickoff meeting, we explained what we were hoping to learn through a series of landing page tests - each testing different variations of a business model, along with different sets of value propositions and price points. Boundless helped us with strategy and execution of the ad campaigns from helping us create the ad titles and copy, select images, customer targeting, reviewing ad performance, and helping us interpret the results to inform our product and business strategy.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In our initial project with Boundless, we ran 3 variations of landing pages for a venture concept. Each was paired with an ad campaign on a popular social media platform. We targeted potential customer segments and ran the tests for a period of time. The results of the tests showed very clearly the champion variant through the clickthrough rates, conversion rates and customer engagement on the landing page itself. The success of the ad campaigns was instrumental in providing clarity around our platform, early adopters, and wedge into the market.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We met weekly to review the results of our ad campaigns, adjust where needed, and plan work for the remainder of the week. In addition we met throughout the week as needed. This worked very well for the team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by the range of hands-on support they were providing us. From strategy, creation and management of the ads, creative content, and analysis and recommendations from the results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Perhaps making recommendations to align our existing assets and setup to more closely align with best practices. This is something they helped us with (e.g., profile pages and ad accounts), but doing so at the beginning of the project could have helped. Fairly minor though, just stretching for an example.

We have seen the most impressive results with our Facebook/Instagram paid campaigns. The cost and quality of leads have been great. Boundless always comes to us with more ideas for targeting and creative direction.

Each ad is optimized to reach my target millennial audience; Boundless Agency’s team alters messaging and visuals to be more appealing. I wasn’t selling a lot of my product before Boundless Agency came in. I haven’t entirely made back the management fee yet since I’ve only been working with Boundless Agency for a month, but I have made enough to cover my ad spending. I’ve made enough for me to continue the partnership with the hope of seeing double the first results. I’m really happy that I have these ads in my arsenal to use at a later date.

Within the first two days of receiving my briefing, Boundless Agency delivered a new branding, ad approach, and graphics. Now, I have biweekly meetings with Boundless Agency, where they report on ad progress. We typically communicate through email and Zoom calls.

I’ve been really impressed with Boundless Agency’s turnaround time and communication. I usually get a response to my messages within two minutes, and Boundless Agency is open to last-minute meetings. Other marketing firms I’ve talked to have made big promises about doubling my ROI, but Boundless Agency has been honest about what they can deliver.
