What was the scope of their involvement?

THE BORING CREW LLP has helped us with key iterations of our Part L app, which supports energy assessment in new homes. The team has helped us introduce core capabilities and scale the product for our growing user base. THE BORING CREW LLP has also supported us in our complete rebuild of our technology from the ground up to support our enterprise scale ambitions and AI capability integration.Specifically, THE BORING CREW LLP has acted as the lead developer on PlotTech v3, which has merged our three legacy apps (quality, energy/part L, and fire/part B) into one platform: a React Native mobile app, a web portal, and a reviewer app. THE BORING CREW LLP has led the technical build of the unified site, plot, and task structure, including site creation and automatic task configuration by property type. The team has also built the fire part B task logic, user access and permissions, and web portal reporting. THE BORING CREW LLP has taken the app through the App Store release.Moreover, THE BORING CREW LLP has migrated existing customers onto v3, conducted cleanup on duplicate plots left by the merge, decommissioned the legacy apps, and archived data to cut infrastructure costs.

THE BORING CREW LLP has supported our significant growth and user adoption even with a fairly lean operation. We now have over 300,000 evidence items captured and have supported over 30,000 in compliance decisions on the platform. We’ve also noticed at least £300 (approximately $360 USD) per month in savings since the launch and greater efficiency and accuracy in our offline user activity management.

How did THE BORING CREW LLP perform from a project management standpoint?

THE BORING CREW LLP has worked with Jira directly with very clear prioritization tasks and agreed-upon estimates and timelines. The team has delivered on time, but we’ve always remained flexible and worked together on managing assumptions on both sides. THE BORING CREW LLP has met dates more often than not. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.
