BN Digital was responsible for the entire design layer of our product, from brand to production-ready screens. The project started with brand identity - logo design, color palette, typography, and a visual language that could work across our product, website, and marketing materials. From there, they moved into full product UI/UX design, including user research, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens for our web platform covering onboarding flows, dashboards, claim tracking, and email scanning features. They also designed our marketing website. All deliverables were handed off in Figma with a structured design system and component library that our development team could work with directly.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The design work directly supported our product launch and go-to-market efforts. The structured design system and component library reduced our development time significantly, allowing our dev team to build and ship features faster with minimal back-and-forth. The website design contributed to a professional first impression that helped us in investor conversations and client acquisition. The product UI they delivered was clean and intuitive enough that users could complete the full onboarding and email scanning flow with virtually no support, which was critical for our Autopilot product. Overall, their work helped us go from concept to a live, market-ready product on a startup timeline.

Their project management was solid throughout. Communication was responsive and clear - we worked mainly through Slack and Figma, and they were always quick to reply and address feedback. When priorities shifted (which happened often given our startup pace), they adapted without friction. Deliverables were generally on time, and when timelines needed to adjust they were transparent about it upfront. They also handled multiple workstreams in parallel - branding, product, and website - without dropping the ball on any of them. Overall, working with them felt collaborative and low-maintenance, which is exactly what you need as a small team moving fast.

What stood out most was their ability to think like a product team, not just a design agency. They didn't just take briefs and deliver pixels - they asked the right questions, challenged assumptions when needed, and genuinely cared about how the end user would experience the product. That level of ownership is rare with external teams. They also managed to maintain design consistency across branding, website, and product, which gave us a cohesive look and feel from day one. For an early-stage startup, that kind of unified visual identity made us look much more established than we were.

What stood out most was their ability to think like a product team, not just a design agency. The overall team required very little to no direct management from our team. Once we established a process for managing the workflow, the team was extremely efficient and delivery above expectations (quality and timeline). They feed and quality of their execution was top notch!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

BN Digital, and our team of Designers, are extremely skilled at what they do in UX/UI, Web Development, Animation, and Creative Design. But besides this, they are organized, thoughtful, and take the time to understand your business and customer to deliver world-class experiences. I am extremely impressed by the speed, quality, and thoughtfulness that goes into their day-to-day work and execution.

Even further, we see BN Digital as a strategic and long-term partner. Our Designers are truly seen as team members, not a Vendor. We value their contributions tremendously; our product is better because of their efforts. If I am starting a new position or new business, they will be one of the first vendors I call!

We have Senior Designer on our team, which we have used for the last 2 companies I have worked with. She is excellent on so many levels. I am not sure if there is a mentorship program, but I think taking the Senior Designers and pairing them with more junior designs has proved to be really effective for the growth and quality of the collective team.

The biggest part of the project was redesigning an ERP system: This involves assessing the current system and identifying areas where improvements can be made. The scope of the redesign included changes to the user interface, workflow processes. The goal was to create a more efficient and effective system that meets the needs of the organization and its users. Also, part of the scope was designing a new on-boarding flow and make UX improvements.

We were able to give feedback and finish the designs in very short period of time.

All in all, the working progress couldn't be better. It was a pleasure to meet such a talented team like this one. Very quick and super friendly communication. Their ideas and design help gave us a huge support in terms of complete the hole client project.

Alex, our project manager was easy to communicate with and Olga provided us frequent updates. Video calls are possible anytime and the full communication was through Slack. Everything delivered on time with super high quality.

What challenge were you trying to address with BN Solutions Inc?

We engaged BN Solutions to redesign and modernize our UI. We aimed to improve the usability and aesthetics of our platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since our team has a strong programming and development background, we primarily leaned on BN Solutions to guide us through the design process. After discussing our goals, we provided the team with our existing site. Then, they created many different design mock-ups in Figma and AdobeXD, which we reviewed. Next, they took our feedback and redesigned and implemented the UI/UX.

During the implementation phase, they also helped us with other IT services. For example, we met with the BN Solutions CTO to strategize on how we could improve our architecture. They helped us eliminate technical debt by replacing our older libraries and modernizing our code. Our application doesn’t use any particular framework, but our tech stack includes JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, DataTables, and Highcharts.

The partnership has positively impacted our business, and we’re happy with the functionality and design. BN Solutions has helped us create a modern, cleanly-designed UI and implemented several new features we couldn’t have done alone. 

How did BN Solutions Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

We worked off of time and materials versus a fixed price, so it’s hard to say whether BN Solutions met the budget. As far as I’m concerned, they executed deliverables on time and were willing to dedicate extra time to meet critical project deadlines, which was great. 

They were very easy to work with; they always accommodated us whenever we asked to swap out a staff member. We had a positive experience, and they were very supportive, honest partners. We mostly had video meetings and communicated via email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I liked that BN Solutions acted as thought leaders throughout the design process and was impressed by their timeliness when completing critical tasks. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

At times, BN Solutions staffed our project with junior teammates when their senior staff was busy, but that would be the only area for improvement.

If you provide BN Solutions with clear instructions, they’ll deliver a high-quality final product.

In addition, they built the UX throughout the application — they're a full-service company.

BN Digital designed our entire platform and created our new branding and logo. The team also created our sales presentation and website with the new branding and look. The scope of work included dozens of Figma screens and designs, logo mockups, and website designs, as well as sales presentation templates. The Figma screens and designs included buttons, mockups, visual designs, and reports.

We needed BN Digital to build software to automate and digitise our operational processes, which were all completely manual. Our processes are complex and involve a large number of stakeholders so we needed a solution that would deliver on these requirements effectively. They delivered on this with professionalism and accuracy.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had interviewed a number of potential providers and BN Digital stood out to us due to their speed of understanding our requirements, their communication manner and the large number of resources they have at their disposal.

We started off by having an in-depth discussion of our requirements for our process management system during which they mapped out the various flows and user requirements. After which detailed wire-frames and UI design was done to accurately represent/demonstrate how the system would work and look. Regular and constant communication was maintained throughout and changes were actioned with efficiency.

Once we had confirmed our satisfaction with the proposed UI and UX the backend development began and we received weekly feedback and progress reports. We were also able to track their progress at any time and had complete transparency.

There were 3 members that were part of the core team allocated to us. They included a project manager, a UX designer and a senior developer. Other resources would often be pulled into the project to assist get deliverables done. It was great that they had access to many additional resources.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They delivered a system that has completely automated our processes and helped us to achieve a scalable product. We can now achieve higher volumes of work without having to employ additional people.

Their project management was excellent, we had a dedicated PM with whom we had weekly feedback meetings. Any requests were actioned immediately and with accuracy.

The level of communication and transparency provided by them was far better than any other providers we have worked with in the past.
