We engaged Blueant as a technical partner to execute several eCommerce projects for our clients. As a digital strategy agency, LaMagnética handled the data analysis, SEO strategy, and UX/UI definition, while Blueant was responsible for supporting us with the backend architecture, platform migration, and frontend implementation.

Our infrastructure is vast, consisting of 18 distinct PrestaShop storefronts, a custom Laravel application, and a Shopify instance. Managing this level of complexity requires not just coding skill, but architectural foresight, and they have consistently delivered on both fronts.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Blueant Solutions could have done differently?

If I had to pick one area, perhaps more extensive documentation on the older legacy parts of the PrestaShop code would be helpful for the future. Given the limitations of the legacy technology and the complexity of our ecosystem, some issues during developments are inevitable, and occasionally require a bit more time to resolve. That said, their team consistently manage to get the most out of the platform and have always been available to explain and fix things, so these issues have not been a blocker for us.

The project consisted of migrating our old PrestaShop to a new version. We had to duplicate certain content and create other elements from scratch, such as the product page, which was heavily optimized and significantly updated. We also changed banners that were updated and improved, along with other details to enhance the overall appearance of the website. In addition, we received full support to understand how the back office works, including how to change specific elements and training so that I could learn to do it myself. Finally, we migrated the blog, ensuring that all articles were updated, and so on.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

At the moment, I still can’t talk about the benefits or results of this project, because in the end a website migration is not something I have the tools to measure. However, the truth is that I’m very happy with how the final result turned out. I think it looks very nice, very useful, and very well adapted to current trends, so I would say that the outcome has been absolutely positive.

I am very happy and very satisfied with the work I have done together with Antonio in this case, because the communication is absolutely positive. Despite working remotely, he resolves my questions very quickly. Whenever there is any issue, he fixes it as fast as possible. He teaches me how the tool works so that I can learn it from scratch. Overall, I would say that everything I ask of him is done in the best possible way, delivered on time, and the final result is excellent.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Blueant Solutions has a very strong and positive ability to understand their clients’ needs and to reflect them—in this case—through a website. Very often, it’s difficult to connect with your counterpart, but in this case I think Antonio is a highly empathetic person with a great ability to understand the person in front of him, as well as their needs and what they require. I believe he strikes the perfect balance between offering innovative ideas that can benefit the company while at the same time respecting the company’s mindset and values. In other words, he shows initiative and makes proposals, but he is not invasive; he knows how to respect the company’s timing and values very well.
