What is the scope of their involvement?

Blue Monkeys Productions created a video commercial for us. Initially, we came up with a concept, but they told us to let them develop another concept from scratch. They helped us with the entire production process, including concept development, scriptwriting, filming, and editing.

Their team has already finished this project, but we’re currently working with them on a few more video projects.

I met them through a Google search, but I also remember meeting them a few years ago at a conference.

For this specific project, we’ve invested around $17,000.

We started working together in August 2022, and our engagement is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of the video they’ve produced is very high. We’ve published it on our website and social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. We’ve also received great feedback from our audience when we ran campaigns using the video.

How did Blue Monkeys Productions perform from a project management standpoint?

All the requested work has been delivered on time and within budget. Moreover, their team is very responsive, dynamic, agile, and willing to accommodate our change requests; we really feel like we’re working with a real and genuine partner. For communication, we use Zoom, WhatsApp, and email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re most impressed with the quality of the final product; their team has given us a high-quality video with a compelling message.

I can’t think of anything that Blue Monkeys Productions could improve on at the moment.

Blue Monkeys Productions played a key role from brainstorming ideas all the way through the process of filming, editing and producing a final product. They’ve helped us put the right message in the film and handle all of the logistics and details.

There were two main points of contact, Barak (Co-CEO & Creative Director, Blue Monkeys Productions) and Or (Co-CEO & Marketing, Blue Monkeys Productions). There were about five people on the team that worked with us.

They were referred to us by a former marketing colleague. We interviewed a few companies and were impressed with their level of professionalism and knowledge within film and video production.

We’ve spent between $30,000–$40,000.

The client had very positive feedback after seeing the videos. They commented on how professionally it was.

We have scheduled calls and meetings, but they are always available any time we have questions or concerns. They respond very quickly to everything.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are very professional and formed a great relationship with us through the project. They’ve also been very patient and calm through all of the stress that comes with making a film. It’s our first time doing a project like this, so it was helpful that they are experienced in the area.

They are able to capture the many voices we need to create a well-made product. Their exceptional level of service and care toward the relationship shows in their work. We hope to continue working with them on a wider scale.

I lead business operations at a subsidiary of a major consulting firm that focuses on security. We provide cybersecurity services to the company's clientele.

What challenge were you trying to address with Blue Monkeys Productions?

Our parent company is currently pushing a gender equity initiative, where the company is ensuring a strict balance in the gender makeup of its employees. We engaged Blue Monkeys to create a video for us that would highlight their efforts. The promotional video would be launched on various social media platforms.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Blue Monkeys executed everything from scratch. They first met with us to flesh out our ideas and turned them into a polished script. This was an iterative process, and we had to get the script approved by the global marketing department.

After finalizing the script, we took one day in our office to film everything. After Blue Monkey did some extensive editing, the final product came to be a short 2-minute video.

I worked directly with Barak (CEO, Blue Monkeys Productions) and Or (Co-CEO, Blue Monkeys Productions). There were 5–6 people in total, all of whom were responsible for different tasks.

Blue Monkeys had an existing relationship with the firm's Israel headquarters, so they were recommended to me. Before we engaged them, though, I saw their portfolio and loved their work.

We began working together in April 2019 and the project wrapped up in September of the same year.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The video was a great success. It received enthusiastic feedback internally, even from other units of the firm. This film helped us successfully recruit more women, which was one of our goals.

They were very professional, so the process was very smooth.

They sent us schedules and materials in advance, so the project was a breeze. The process was clear and streamlined.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would encourage them to continue with their exposure to global companies and corporate firms. They are familiar with the cultural differences in the workflow, which could be very helpful while working with international companies.
