Blue Carrot provided us with animation support we didn't have available in-house at the time. The team created a five-minute animation. We did the script, visual storyboarding, creative direction, sound, visual style, and voice.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Blue Carrot delivered quality and production value. Our end client was pleased with the final product. Although the animation isn't live yet, our stakeholders are excited and approve of it.

How did Blue Carrot perform from a project management standpoint?

Blue Carrot delivered on time. We communicated via email and messaging apps. However, we had some communication problems and a lengthy review cycle back and forth over getting some assets correct, even when we sent exact examples for them to copy.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed with the quality of the final deliverable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Blue Carrot could be clear upfront about the process for us to get aligned. We tried to mesh their process with ours, but it wasn't always clear what counted as a review cycle or just correcting something that was missed.

We made four videos with them, the last one ending in May 2025. The first was in August or September 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Blue Carrot successfully delivered all the videos. They provided proofs and progress checks throughout the process, allowing us to make changes based on the main points we wanted the audience to know. We could adjust the messaging or imagery to nail down that message.

For example, we made some fonts larger to stand out, added some company-specific logos, and reworded some of the voiceover scripts.

How did Blue Carrot perform from a project management standpoint?

Blue Carrot’s project management was good. They were very good at communication, deadlines, and expectations. We mainly communicated via Slack and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They understood right away what we were trying to achieve in the videos. They got the vision and ran with it.

The scope of work involved producing a 90-second animated marketing video. We provided the initial storyboard and static screen designs, while Blue Carrot handled the animation and project management. Their role was to bring our materials to life with their animation expertise, ensuring the final product was polished, engaging, and aligned with our vision.

Key deliverables included the fully animated video and a separate cut of the logo bumper. Blue Carrot maintained excellent communication throughout the project despite a tight deadline and delivered everything on time.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Although it is still early to fully measure the impact, we are very happy with the outcome. The video will be used as part of our marketing outreach, featured in our marketing deck and website, and will also serve as product B-roll for future TV interviews. Our go-to-market team is particularly excited, as the video captures our capabilities clearly and engagingly, potentially saving them significant time when communicating with prospects. Overall, the video delivers our message more effectively than words alone.

Project management was excellent throughout. Blue Carrot delivered everything on time, if not earlier, and their communication was brilliant. They responded to our needs quickly and promptly, making the process smooth and stress-free from start to finish.

What impressed us most about Blue Carrot was the quality of the final outcome, the efficiency with which they completed the project, and the competitive pricing they offered. They delivered a high-standard video within a tight timeframe, all while maintaining excellent value for money.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Blue Carrot could have done differently?

There isn’t much to point out. One small note is that we ended up hiring a composer separately to create custom music. We could have asked Blue Carrot to help source a custom music direction for an additional cost, but as we already had a contact, we handled it directly. The initial music selection from Blue Carrot was more in the stock-audio style, which suited the budget and wasn’t a downside for the project overall.

They were very good with keeping schedule, and accommodated delays and last-minute changes very well. In some cases, expedited delivery was possible at short notice. Blue Carrot was very personable and quick to respond. Communication was friendly and prompt.

I’m the marketing director at a financial software company. Our product does lead enrichment, so it helps financial advisors find more data about the people they’d like to turn into their clients and improve their sales and marketing.

Our first goal was to create an explainer video with a concise overview of our product. We also needed a second video to explain one of our new integrations.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Blue Carrot created two videos for us. The first step was giving them a script; they made the storyboard from there. When we had all the storyboards in a centralized online platform, they moved on to animation.

The team delivered an animated video draft. Once we approved that, we moved on to sound, music, and voiceover. Ultimately, Blue Carrot had the final video, and we just made minor tweaks.

We just published the videos last week. We don’t expect many views or impressive numbers yet because we haven’t promoted them, but they’re live on our website.

Moreover, Blue Carrot’s work was in between meeting and exceeding expectations. Their animation was excellent; they quickly created a video that explained our product and looked great for what it was.

How did Blue Carrot perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management went well. On the other hand, they’d probably say we didn’t stick to the timelines if you asked them to review us. However, Blue Carrot was flexible and willing to make changes, even though we sometimes asked for difficult changes.

We mainly communicated through emails and the centralized online platform. My team and I could log in with the link and leave comments directly without having to send any attachments. It made the feedback process much easier.

Liuda (Project Manager) helped push the project timeline and was very flexible.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with their project management. They drove the project to completion and kept everything moving forward.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Blue Carrot provided me with video production services, focusing on scriptwriting. After a kickoff meeting, they were in charge of fixing the scripts I already had. For every module of the course, the team provided me with a script

After approving the scripts, Blue Carrot was responsible for creating the illustrations and producing the videos, which we had to approve. Basically, they handled every part of the process, including editing and audio mixing.

I worked with around five teammates from Blue Carrot, including the owner, two project managers, an illustrator, and a voiceover artist.

I had already worked with them. For my first project, I found them online. They did such a good job that I hired them again for this second project.

Given that this was animated video production, our collaboration was remote. Still, Blue Carrot was 100% on point with all metrics, as they delivered on time and within budget. We communicated via Telegram and email.

Blue Carrot was very professional. I don't regret working with them, and I'll work with them on future projects.

There's nothing Blue Carrot could have improved on. If anything, I wish they were cheaper.

I have no particular advice. Blue Carrot is very easygoing and responsive, so finishing the project on time depends on how fast you want to go.

They came up with various look and feel and animation style options based on the end client’s brand guidelines. They also explained the limitations and advantages of each animation type and worked with us to create guidelines for our scriptwriters to ensure that the content we were creating worked well in the animation style that the client chose. Aside from the animations, Blue Carrot handled the audio mixing and sound effects for the videos.

The videos haven't launched yet, but as someone who has made a lot of videos before, I was very impressed with Blue Carrot's ability to look at the scripts that we provided and distill the most important pieces of information into the animations. It was evident that they took the time to understand the content we provided and bring forth the most important elements in a way that the viewers could easily understand.

Blue Carrot performed well in terms of project management. We had a tight timeline, and I was impressed with their transparency in terms of what they could and couldn’t do. Their communication was top-notch, and they were always on schedule. They were also very flexible and accommodating of our requests and the few changes we needed to make that were out of scope.

The scope of work included delivering a short illustrated video for our business that explained how we work and conveyed the emotional messaging of the business. We desired a 1:00-1:30 video that checked all of these boxes, and which they would illustrate, direct, storyboard, and manage all sound, as well as provide copy work as well.

They were extremely responsive to our needs and allowed for a genuine collaboration I didn't expect possible for a project that was managed mostly via email messaging.

The depth of their knowledge and abilities was even better than expected and the outcome was exactly as desired.

Their ability to work asynchronously and take feedback and deliver changes with minimal edits needed was amazing. The line of communication was easy and very respectful, and the project was enjoyable to produce together.

Creative projects can sometimes be difficult to align on, but that was not the case. They were amazing listeners and took great care to develop a product they could be proud of and that met all expectations. I highly recommend them.

For what projects/services did your company hire Blue Carrot, and what were your goals?

We wanted to have animated videos to use as part of the sales cycle in two languages.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Initially we did a lot of research and liked the examples Blue Carrot provided after our initial discussion. The examples were of high quality and seemed to match what we were looking for. This suggested that they did not only send over a few random ideas, ut listened and made a selection based on our needs.

The project started with us sending over a very detailed storyline and several examples of what we wanted. Blue Carrot came back with animation designs helped us find relevant voice over artists and background music. We created a 90 sec video that we cut in three smaller segments and ended up with four videos. This was a great collaboration between our team and the Blue Carrot team

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Our team was assigned a project manager for the duration of the project. This made the process move ahead with speed and we were kept up to date. Most of the time tasks were completed well before the deadline. We would communicate regularly and our feedback was implemented accordingly. The team was very efficient, for example, we asked for a change to be implemented by the next day and it was done on the same day.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are going to use this as part of our sales process and have created videos to correspond to where the buyer is in the sales process. We have yet to start this process, but the initial feedback from the wider team and outside marketing specialists have been great.

Our project manager was easy to work with and kept us in the loop. The project manager had complete control over progress and details something that made a small, but complex video project easier. The communication was done via e-mail and that was enough for this project. We had continuous progress from day one until the project was finished.

Blue Carrot was quick to understand our needs and what type of video we were looking for. They suggested some good ideas that we did not think of and they were quick to implement our suggestions and ideas. It was clear that Blue Carrot really wanted us to succeed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The experience of working with Blue Carrot has been professional and we will do it again in the future. As far as this project goes we cannot point to anything that they could have done differently.

For what projects/services did your company hire Blue Carrot, and what were your goals?

The goal was to produce illustrations and animations that added some visual variety to what otherwise was a documentary-style, talking head project. Creating drawings of our profilees interacting with their physios enhances and reinforces the personal connection they have with one another. The simple line style against backgrounds hand-picked for each profilee, also added a visual cohesion and made everything feel aligned and intentional.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had worked with Blue Carrot before and the style of this project mimicked a project with a similar style from the past.

We kicked off the project once a brief and workback schedule was created. Then, once we had approval on the shot list we started production on the v1 of the designs. We then went back and forth with the client and BC nailing down the correct representations for v2s of the designs. Then production on animation began and delivery of the main assets along with all secondary assets was delivered by Blue Carrot.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked with Luida, BC's PM, who I had the pleasure of working with in the past as well. In terms of communications, correspondences were done via email, and all feedback was implemented without the use of clarifying calls. Deliverables were provided on time, via Google Drive.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The vision of the project was mostly realized and the client was overjoyed with the outcome. We swung for the fences and didn't get everything I wanted to happen done, but that can be said for any project. In the end, BC worked with tight, last-minute turnarounds on designs and had all animations on time everything looked great, and that's all that matters.

Everything was delivered via email and all assets were organized and labelled properly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their hustle to get everything done. Their ability to understand and implement feedback without any hand-holding was impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The experience was overwhelmingly positive, but if I could offer anything constructive to help customer experience it would be perhaps to send an email receipt that the changes were received and an estimate on completion. However, I understand that it adds more communication and sometimes when you're moving fast on delivering a project you don't always have time.
