Its systems let hospitality, corporate and retail clients grow fresh produce on site using up to 95% less water than conventional farming, with zero soil and zero food miles. The company won a Bronze Medal at RHS Chelsea 2024 and is currently raising under SEIS/EIS with HMRC Advance Assurance confirmed."

• Build the complete digital infrastructure for BDM Wealth Management, a Dubai-based capital raising advisory: corporate platform, bond issuance system and a fully bespoke CRM — replacing spreadsheets and manual processes across the entire investor lifecycle
• Design and build a ground-up CRM around BDM's actual sales process — lead capture and deduplication, pipeline and opportunity tracking, partner/introducer workflows and management reporting — rather than forcing the team onto an off-the-shelf tool
• Deliver a bond issuance platform (bdmbond.com) taking qualified investors from first enquiry to executed subscription — presenting fixed-term loan notes with the full legal pack: IM, debenture, security trust deed and subscription agreement

BlockLabs built our entire digital operation from the ground up. They delivered a bespoke CRM designed around how our sales team actually works — lead capture, pipeline tracking, partner workflows and reporting — plus a client-facing investor portal with KYC onboarding, our bond issuance platform with the full legal document pack generated end-to-end, automated email workflows for investor onboarding and follow-ups, and clean, professional UX/UI across everything. What stood out was the process: fixed price agreed upfront, working software demoed every week, and a senior team who understood a regulated capital raising business rather than needing it explained. All three systems are live and in daily use — the CRM replaced our spreadsheets entirely and investor subscriptions now run through the platform without manual paperwork. We'd use them again without hesitation

Investor documentation turnaround cut from days to hours: the full legal pack (IM, debenture, trust deed, subscription agreement) is generated and executed through the platform end-to-end

Lead handling transformed: imported and deduplicated the existing lead base into the CRM, giving the team clean pipeline visibility and accurate conversion reporting for the first time

Three systems delivered and in daily production use. The CRM is now the single source of truth for BDM's sales operation — every lead, opportunity and partner interaction tracked in one place, replacing spreadsheet-based management entirely

scope, timeline and price were fixed before any code was written, and they held to all three. We saw working software every week — actual demos we could click through, not status reports — which meant issues were caught and fixed early rather than at the end. Our delivery lead was the single point of contact throughout and responded quickly, usually same day, whether it was a change request on the CRM pipeline stages or a wording change in the investor documents. Everything shipped on schedule: the CRM, the investor portal and the bond issuance platform all went live as planned, with documentation handed over and support continuing after launch

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They understood the business, not just the brief. Most developers we spoke to needed a regulated capital raising operation explained to them — BlockLabs already knew what an IM, a debenture and a subscription agreement were, and built the platform around how a raise actually runs. The CRM was designed around our real sales process rather than forcing us into an off-the-shelf template, and that difference shows every day. It also felt like one accountable senior team: the people on the weekly demos were the people writing the code, and nothing got lost between layers of account management

Are there any areas for improvement or something Block Labs Digital could have done differently?

Very little. If we're being picky, the early documentation assumed a level of technical familiarity our team didn't have — we asked for a plainer-English admin guide for the CRM and they produced one quickly. A more structured handover training session for non-technical staff at launch would have saved a week of questions. Neither affected the delivery itself
