I am head of marketing for Patient Advocate, which offers healthcare services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Blackberry Design?

We enlisted them for web and collateral design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I typically give Blackberry a brief of what designers and marketing materials we need from them. I’ll sometimes provide guidelines for content and design. They then produce the documents and marketing collateral in adherence to those requirements. Their designs have included everything from logos to visual graphics.

They developed our website and continue to provide ongoing maintenance. They’ll upload new designs onto the site if needed. I rely on them on a weekly basis.

What is the team composition?

I have a project manager, Anthony (Account Manager). We also work with a designer and a web creator.

How did you come to work with Blackberry Design?

While the contract was already in place when I joined the company, I believe our CEO had a connection with them. I believe it was a recommendation.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement began in January 2016 and is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They’ve kept us as a client for 6 years, which speaks to their success as our design partner. I’ve worked in marketing for many years, and I’ve never thought of changing to another provider. On top of consistently delivering on time and within budget, they always send us a Pro forma beforehand so that we’re never surprised with hidden costs. I’d say that they’re exceptionally transparent.

How did perform from a project management standpoint?

Anthony is excellent. He always lets me know what the timeframes for a project look like. He’ll also inform me if he anticipates any delays or roadblocks. That’s never been an issue, though, since they’ve always delivered on time. I also appreciate that he’s diligent in understanding the entire scope of the project. Their diligence helps them create the best marketing materials.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’d highlight their customer service. They’re very welcoming; I can pick up the phone at any time and know that the work will get done. They’re even accommodating of our more urgent requests, even if it means they work into the evening. They’re amazingly flexible in that way.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not at the moment. I’m very happy with everything they do.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend keeping clear and transparent lines of communication.

We’re a family-owned chain of children’s day nurseries. I’m in charge of marketing for the organization.

What challenge were you trying to address with Blackberry Design?

We wanted help building our brand online and offline.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve been working together for about four years. We first worked together on brochure design. They did all the initial design ideas through finalizing everything and coordinating the printing. We continue to work with them to update the brochures and print new versions. 

They also do the designs for all of our branded stationery materials like letterhead. We recently had them do a website redesign as well. They’re continuing to maintain the website. 

What is the team composition?

I work with three people including Anthony (Interim Account Manager), Jacob (Web Developer), and Rhys (Designer). 

How did you come to work with Blackberry Design?

I just did a Google search and looked at a few companies. They were local to us which was important. They were responsive when I reached out to them, and we were able to set up a time to meet. It all went from there. 

How much have you invested with them?

I think I’ve spent about £10,000 (approximately $13,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around August 2016, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve got a lot of positive comments about our website and people seem to like our brochure. The designs are consistent which gives us a professional image so people know and trust us. Our occupancy is also improving. 

How did Blackberry Design perform from a project management standpoint?

They excel in communication. If I ever want anything done, they get back to me quickly and provide a solution as soon as possible. We can also meet face-to-face if needed. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

How they understand us as a company is impressive. They respond to our needs. 

Are there any areas they could improve? 

No, I’m happy. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

Just give them a call and set up a meeting. They’re a really nice group of people, and they’re good at listening to what you need as a business and helping you achieve your goals.

Account manger and designer worked great as a team.

Our customers have commented how nice the new business cards and comp slips look.
