It was our pleasure to cooperate with Black Rabbit team on a video about Ronald McDonald House in Warsaw. The filming was at a hectic time when the House was almost ready and we were preparing the opening. We wanted to follow the construction workers with the camera as well as cast the due limelight on our staff, volunteers and donors.

• A very large number of online viewers (over 3,100 people). This is the most popular material on our foundation YouTube channel. This film has survived to this day, it is part of the living history of the Ronald McDonald House in Warsaw. Nothing has lost its relevance. Our story "So that the family can be together" sounded great and legible.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Wojtek and his team were well aware of how little time we had. And yet he was able to adjust the schedule so that the filming took two days only. Very task-oriented, he is full of ideas which can later be seen in the exceptional quality of the videos. They were professional, flexible, and fun to work with. A good listener, Wojtek can spot the key message and understand the culture of the organization. 

On the set, he keeps his eyes on the goal throughout the process. His crew is exceptionally competent and organized. One can see how comfortable they are with Wojtek in charge of things. Those people are the best ad Black Rabbit can wish for.

We do not see such areas. Everything was done great.

I lead the threat research organization for a company called Trend Micro, which is an information security company. We research threats, exploitation, and how attackers work in the information security world.

We needed their video production expertise at our events.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Black Rabbit has produced videos for my team and other groups within our company. We typically ask whether they can support a certain kind of project, whether it’s a long-form video or event support and video coverage. Before each project, we usually brainstorm and discuss the focus of the event and its desired look, as well as the video’s planned format and usage — such as short-form for Instagram or long-form for YouTube. 

The majority of their videos are recordings of our live events. They set up the style and aesthetics of the event and film the event — they capture the drama in a way that's interesting to our audience.  They’ve also produced videos with only graphics and no live footage. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, they’ve helped us livestream events.

They bring their own equipment to events; they have a variety of cameras, lighting systems, and audio equipment. They also handle editing and audio mixing.

Black Rabbit produces a lot of value for our projects at a competitive price. We use them to catch attention and advertise our company on social media, YouTube, our website, and at our events. We use engagement rates on Twitter and other social media platforms, as well as the number of embeds the video has in articles and other places, to verify the success of each event.

They customize their videos and services to fit our needs and incorporate our feedback well. They’re willing to travel internationally, which is great for us; they give our multitude of videos and events a consistent look and feel, even across locations.

Their project management has always been good; they’ve never had any issues with deliverables or the budget. We communicate through email.

Their videos are very personal. They effectively convey our events' drama, intense pressure, and essence. They liven up our events and capture the mood and emotions of contestants.

Project 2030 started life as a lengthy white paper, envisaging the world of 2030, all of the societal, behavioural and technological changes. The challenge was to turn this research into an asset that would have a wider appeal beyond our traditional audience. We engaged Black Rabbit to create a web series based on this research.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for video production companies with a proven track record in creating ground-breaking content at "Netflix quality" levels.

We started by identifying the most important points from the white paper and then designing a potential story arc that incorporated them. We then worked together on storyboarding and scriptwriting. Black Rabbit involved us closely in all aspects of casting and location scouting and we were able to be present on set during the several days of shooting. We had the chance to provide feedback throughout the entire post-production process also, ensuring quality goals were met and often exceeded.

We worked with a project manager for the administrative aspects of the project and directly with the creative team on the rest. Feedback was a very organic, bi-directional, and inclusive process.

Lastly, all the contents are needed to be light so our page can load. That's why black-rabbit came up with an excellent solution. They recreate the entire motion design with JSON file, which is super light.

Our company has a rather complicated profile, because we are not a courier company but a broker that works like a comparison site for all courier companies in Poland.

Our service Furgonetka.pl allows both - companies and individuals, to send courier shipments quickly and cheaply. We offer the highest quality services at attractive prices and provide a number of modern tools to automate processes in the logistics and e-commerce industry. The main task was to explain in an easy and accessible way what our company does.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for video production companies by making a tender in which 8 companies participated. After reviewing all proposals we choose Black Rabbit because of the creative idea, professional approach and great value for money.

After the tender ended, we met with Black Rabbit for several sessions during which we discussed ideas and how we want to present our company and industry in video production. After a few meetings and the preparation of the script and storyboards, as well as the budget, we did a professional casting with the selection of actors.

After the actors had been approved, we met for a final pre-production meeting, where we discussed the details of the ad plan day, props, costumes etc. Then the advertisement was filmed, also Black rabbit did a photo session during the shooting day.

Ultimately, as a result of post-production activities, thanks to Black rabbit we had 4 versions of TV advertising (Christmas and regular with 2 different lengths) and also online ads (static and animated ones). Despite the short time, everything was done in a professional and exhaustive way, thanks to Black Rabbit.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

From the very beginning, we cooperated with the producer, director, production manager and screenwriter. We had sessions where we discussed all stages, ideas and finalized the activities.

As a result, we felt that we were taken care of as a company at every stage, and that our product was treated with great commitment and creativity.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Communication of our brand with advertising that was created by Black Rabbit and showing it in the high-reach media, resulted in building our company in just over half a year as a competition leader.

The strategic conclusions from 2020 showed that after about 7 months of constant presence on TV with the spot created by Black Rabbit, we opened the categories of courier services in communication and we imposed ourselves as its communication leader.

It was a very important aspect during the pandemic (where we were looking for safe, reliable and stable brands) and during the period of building a well-known nationwide brand.

We had great cooperation with the entire team, at every stage of creating the advertisement. Despite many moments when we were hesitant and needed ad hoc changes - Black Rabbit did not lose their enthusiasm, energy and positive attitude.

Everything took place in a pleasant, professional atmosphere, that's why I have recommended Black Rabbit several times as trustworthy in the context of creating brand communication.

Even at the stage of the tender itself, they distinguished themselves from other companies with their approach. They wanted to get to know the product and our industry as much as possible from the beginning, they were interested in research and hard data.

At the same time, they approached the subject less standardly and showed extremely creative and memorable ideas.

I regret that we could not afford 2 shooting days, which would certainly have resulted in an even better final effect, but it was due to our budget limitations. I would not change anything in cooperation with Black Rabbit.
