Love Trust Foundation is a charity organization aimed at putting smile on the faces of the less privileged. We have a number of initiatives; Rural outreach, Feed the hungry, LTF orphanage, LT health support, LT educational support. At our orphanage facility, we care and give support to orphan and vulnerable children (OVC) living with HIV. I am the Head of Operations at Love Trust Foundation Ibadan, Nigeria. I manage and coordinate all activities and projects/initiatives carried out by the foundation.

Our charity foundation needed a digital agency that could build a website for us so that we can have an online presence, get volunteers and also get donations from any part of the world. We eventually got an IT firm but we had issue with the website management agency. A website was created but was not making impact. At some point we couldn't update the existing website. It was so obsolete! Then Big Field came in.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a website for online Identity where people can get detailed information about what we do, how we do them and how they can join us.

Big Field Digital was recommended by a UK based volunteer of our foundation. He practically invited the CEO of Big Field to one of our rural outreaches and we developed a working relationship.

They brought back to life our long died website. The entire web design was rebranded. All pages were worked on to an international standard. Now, we can recruit volunteers and receive donation online.

What was the team composition?

The team included our foundation chairman, director and the head of operations. Big field digital project manager calls and update us with necessary information about the project. A front end and back end developer, and a digital marketer worked with us on the web content.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Immediately after the project was completed, we started receiving national/international complements, recognition and donations. Our website that couldn't generate prospective volunteers and donors now do. We have lot of people (all over the world) who want to join our team now.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We worked remotely via a project management software called Asana. Wetransfer was used to send large files. Big Field Digital Project Manager does the calling and messaging via WhatsApp and email.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Passion, commitment and humanitarian. Love Trust Foundation being a nonprofit wouldn't have love to spend a whole lot on creating a world-class website. To our greatest surprise, Big Field Digital rectified and brought our website back to life in few weeks and at a reasonable cost.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Well, as for me, i think they are the best in Nigeria! Keep the flag flying guys!!

I am the digital marketing lead at Price Pronto. I oversee the digital marketing strategy used in getting our product design to our target audiences of small businesses and entrepreneurs.

We needed a partner that could convert our idea into a working app. We did not have in-house engineers to do that, so we had to hire experts.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a website to establish our online identity, one where people could get details about our product. We also wanted an Android app that would be user-friendly and engaging and one that could connect our product to our target audience.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched online for a mobile development company in our area that could give us the exact mobile app design we wanted. Out of three companies reached out to, we chose Big Field based on their proposal and high-class portfolio.

Describe the project in detail.

We had a series of meetings in the first week. They designed a website and a landing page for our mobile app within three weeks and then we moved into the product design stage. They provided wireframes and mockups to improve our understanding of how the app would look. After we agreed on the design, they created our app and gave us an explainer video which could be used to pitch to the target audience.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a project manager who called and updated us with the necessary info about the project, a frontend and backend developer, an animator for explainer videos, and a digital marketer who worked with me on the app and web content.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Immediately after the project was completed and the app went live on Google Play, the app had more than 200 active users without any marketing.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They used project management software called Samepage. Also, their project manager called us and messaged us via a WhatsApp group.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their technical knowledge, creativity, and communication skills stood out, and we were impressed with the quality of their work.

For what projects/services did your company hire Big Field Digital, and what were your goals?

We want to mobilise Christians to actively participate in politics and good governance in Nigeria and to achieve this, we are using a bottom-up approach. Since every politics is grassroots; we are going to use this app to connect the 9410 wards, 774 local government area and the 36 States including the Federal Capital Abuja. Our goal is to create a non-partisan political platform(Community) for Christians of all denominations to come together and strategise on delivering an ideology that will be all inclusive and based on Biblical worldview for good governance.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We search online for app developer and we shortlisted four; two overseas based developers and two based in Nigeria. We had zoom conference meetings with the two based in Dallas and Houston Texas in April when I was there between March to June. And we had zoom conference meetings in Lagos at my return in July. Finally we settled for Digital Bigfield to do the job based on their past design, skills, understanding of the local contents and cost effectiveness.

We had several pre project discussions to have good understanding of what we required them to do. We gave them framework of the features because it a new kind of app those similar to other social media platform like Facebook etc.

The CEO of Bigfield has always been the person interacting with me and one of IT personnel.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have not yet launched our app, we schedule the launch for January 2023.

Their project management style is international standard, good communication, quick feedback; direct call, email, zoom conference, WhatsApp messages. The project is 95% complete and we have one to full delivery of the project which is at end of January, 2023. They are working within the timeline agreed upon.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This is our first app and we are new in this area, they are patient with us and guide us through the process, giving us professional advice where necessary.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We can't think of any for now until we launch our app

Also most importantly we changed the type of customer target through using retargeting from videos and by constantly checking results and what was and wasn’t working It was ongoing evaluation I also had sales from some of the ads but mostly gained new leads
