How did you select this vendor?
Well, it was quite easy because we knew we wanted an agency based in Nigeria that could handle both the technical and marketing aspects of our project. While searching online, we found Big Field Digital then visited their office in Ibadan; their workspace was appealing and we noticed how the separate departments within the team collaborated. It impressed us and we decided to work with them.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
After we told them about our ideas during the discovery meeting, we left them to come up with the brand identity (name, colours, logo, and mantra), marketing strategy, and mockup designs. They presented all of this to our team and we were blown away; we approved it immediately and they began to develop the web and mobile application. In preparation for the application launch, their digital marketing team opened our social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn), set up our bio, and created short explainer videos. They are currently maintaining our robust e-commerce web app, managing our social media accounts, running Pay-Per-Click ads as well as email and mobile marketing campaigns to ensure that those who subscribed to get notified when we launch weren’t left out.
What was the team composition?
The team comprised of 2 developers who worked on the frontend and backend of the application, a project manager who kept track of all activities, two digital marketers responsible for SEO, social media management, and PPC ads, a graphic designer who created every visual design used on the website, social media, digital adverts, flyers, and stickers, an animator who created 2 explainer videos, one was in English language while the other was in Pidgin. Their Copywriter also created all content on the social media accounts, web and mobile app, as well as ad copies. In total, we worked with 8 members of their team.
