We needed a flexible, reasonably priced fulfilment partner who could help us customise and organise our last mile delivery hassle free. We were just starting so we needed some guidance and low MOQs.

We interviewed others and more established players as well. Most of them were high volume, faceless operators not partners.

They helped us plan our packaging, types of delivery solutions and costs. They also helped us onboard to their platform and how to connect our online store with their system. It was a hassle free and quick process to start working with them.

I first talked to the CEO who was very attentive and insightful. Later a customer manager get us ready with contracts, costs etc and than a fantastic project manager helped us get onboarded and has been in touch with us ever since.

We don’t get KPIs from them, but 97% of our orders are dispatched on time.

Project management has been pretty good in general. We communicate via email.

They could improve their platform and data and choose better couriers.

I’m an executive at a consumer goods e-commerce organization. We’re an umbrella company with many brands, and we specialize in a variety of goods ranging from baby products to camping products.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bezos.ai?

Our pickup operation wasn’t as efficient as it could have been. We were experiencing a lot of issues in one of our regions of operation, where we were mainly relying on Amazon to sell our products. 

We needed a solution to have more products available on our website. Additionally, we wanted to increase our brand awareness and grow our site. The new solution would allow customers to buy products directly from our website and allow us to dispatch our orders in time and with no blockers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bezos.ai helps us dispatch and track orders in one of our regions of operation. In the beginning, they sent us a proposal with the warehouse they’d use, storage and shipping costs, and the courier they’d work with, which was DHL. 

We also had a few calls with our contact at Bezos.ai to ask some questions. After analyzing the proposal and reviewing everything internally, we signed the contract. 

The next step was integrating our website and our Amazon account with Bezos.ai’s platform so that customer orders could feed through to them. With that integration, Bezos.ai can dispatch orders and automatically update tracking information for our customers. 

Using their platform, we can see how much stock we have left of every product. Bezos.ai also has a section that produces reports to check how much they’ve dispatched each month by product or by courier.

Additionally, an overview page lets us see how many orders are pending and how many have been dispatched. Of those, we can also see which orders are new and need to be printed for dispatch, or we can track the orders live ourselves, from the first click to when it’s being delivered.

My manager told me about them; I believe he found them through Google.

So far, we’ve spent about €5,000 (approximately $5,600 USD).

We started working together in November 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Bezos.ai has greatly improved our operations. They’ve made the fulfillment process seamless, and they’ve given us more visibility over our stock and orders. Before working with them, we manually sent orders and updated tracking; now, the process is much easier.

Moreover, it’s very convenient to go into Bezos.ai’s platform and see if a product is running low, and we need to set up a delivery to their warehouse. Their reports help us know which products sell the most based on the number of dispatches.

Bezos.ai has also been very helpful and have made sure our operation is smooth. For example, we had a few e-commerce issues on our side, and they helped us iron them out.

How did Bezos.ai perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been very responsive; the team has answered any questions that we’ve had quickly. 

We’ve had various communication channels. In the beginning, we used mainly Zoom calls to talk properly about what they could offer. Since then, we’ve used phone calls as well.  Overall, they’ve been very good at project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed by Bezos.ai’s easy and convenient operations — we can see what’s going on with our orders straight away.

The team at Bezos.ai is also very responsive. If we need to query something, we don’t have to wait long; we get an answer straight away. In the world of e-commerce, it’s really important to move quite quickly, and they offer that for us.

Additionally, their team has been very nice and welcoming from the beginning. We’re looking forward to sending more of our products into Bezos.ai’s warehouse to continue expanding our relationship with them and using them to fulfill more and more orders.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be good if they could go the extra mile and offer other services. Their day-to-day operations are very good, and it would be a great opportunity for them and their clients to provide different types of services.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice would be to make sure you understand Bezos.ai’s model right from the start. Additionally, understand your company’s platform and e-commerce site and how they’re built. You’ll need your API keys for the integration with Bezos.ai. Prepare everything in your platform, so you don’t delay the integration.

Diego contacted me. Handed me over to nayla to set literally everything up. There were a few niggles at the start but they were great at fixing it all. Nayla held my hand and set me up and got me walking. I am terrible at setting up these integration and I couldn’t have done it without them. I have built my business around bezos.ai

In the start it was mostly Nayla. There are a few guys in the support tram who are excellent and help solve problems but it mostly runs like clockwork. With a few issues here and there but that’s normal with anything in life.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Overall a brilliant service and I wouldn’t want to move away. The system is all set up and they are a fantastic team to work with. I offer next day delivery and in the reviews on my website people say how great the distribution service is, how great the tracking that Dhl yodel offers is and I don’t get really any incorrect picking issues. A few late deliveries if it’s miles away in Scotland but that’s to be expected

They literally did everything in the start. I like most consumers am so useless at API integrations and setting up programs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Nayla is amazing and very patient as I am a complete nightmare as have so many other things to do with running a start up. They are so patient and understanding with me.

We were looking for someone that could do a 3PL (third-party logistics) service for delivering our products to customers through our website and other channels. Bezos.ai is providing us that service.

Prior to Bezos.ai’s involvement, we had tried other 3PLs over a number of years. At the time that we hired the team, we had brought the operations in-house and done it ourselves. Now, they are providing supply chain services for us and fulfill orders as they come in.

We discussed with Bezos.ai at the very beginning about our commitment to the marketplace and to our customers. I needed them to meet the marketplace metrics, so they’ve tailored their feedback and metrics around two key things, which are on-time delivery and actual deliverables. This pertains to how many parcels are delivered in time within a percentage and how many don’t go missing. 

As the business changes and as we get some stock in, their team scales up or down as needed.

We have a single point of contact, the project manager, who channels all communications to the rest of the team, but they’ve got a number of people that go to fulfill orders whenever it is required.

I met the founders of Bezos.ai at an event. Having heard of my not-so-great experiences, they were quite keen to understand how it could be improved and what exactly I was looking for. The fact that they were not telling me what they could offer, but rather tried to understand what I needed made me want to work with them.

We’ve spent less than $10,000.

Our partnership began in September 2019 and the services they provide for us are ongoing.

Bezos.ai has been able to understand and comply with our key metrics which are on-time delivery and the deliverables themselves.  They are also able to scale their team according to our needs, which is one of the reasons we like them.

How did Bezos.ai perform from a project management standpoint?

To me, the most important part of our operations is the fact that nothing ever goes wrong, because our communication is awesome. We have established a standard for communication within our organization and Bezos.ai meets it.

We talk via email and phone calls but predominantly use WhatsApp, which serves as our informal communication tool. We are all involved in a group chat, where messages are sent and seen by everyone who needs to see them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Three key things distinguish Bezos.ai from other service providers:

1. They sought to understand what our requirements were rather than telling us what they could deliver. 
2. They did phenomenally in terms of communication and updates. 
3. Their team is constantly looking to improve processes.

Not really. They always find out what their shortcomings are and tell us before we tell them. Bezos.ai would make the improvements and take us to the next level.

Unfortunately, there were no measurable outcomes from this project that demonstrated progress or success. Instead, my experience with this fulfillment center has been extremely frustrating. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues, my emails and calls have gone unanswered for weeks, making it impossible to complete the offboarding process smoothly.

The only “outcome” I’ve seen is additional time wasted, as I’ve had to personally manage order shipments because the fulfillment center stopped responding once I informed them that I was switching providers. This unprofessional behavior has led to significant delays, messed-up orders, and unjustified charges with no clarification.

Overall, this experience has been a total failure in terms of progress or success, and I wouldn’t recommend their services to anyone.

I’ve decided to leave Bezos AI due to their exorbitant fees, which I simply can’t afford anymore. Their service has been nothing short of a disaster. For the past two weeks, they’ve completely ignored our emails and failed to respond to any of our questions about the offboarding process.

I’ve reached out eight times about offboarding, and their only response is that they are "busy." Since telling them I was leaving, they’ve ignored everything—no replies to emails or phone calls.

On top of that, they’ve messed up my orders, and when I asked about their unjustified invoices, they didn’t respond for an entire month! They continue to send me these unexplained charges with no accountability or clarification. Their lack of professionalism has forced me to resort to shipping my own orders, wasting my time because they are no longer doing their job.

This has been the worst experience I’ve had with a fulfillment center.

If you’re considering Bezos AI, be warned: they’ll overcharge you, mess up your orders, and completely ignore you when you decide to leave. Not worth the stress, time, or money!

We came across Bezos on Google, we had an initial chat with them and were very confident that they would be able to deliver what we wanted. The account manager we were assigned was the deciding factor - she was great., very attentive and professional and gave us a lot of confidence in the company.

We had to migrate all the stock over from our old fulfilment centre. It was a big task and logistically difficult but we managed it thanks to the help from the team.
