I am the founder and director of a software development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Belkins?
We have a long sales cycle and didn’t have a lead generation process in place, so we hired Belkins to design the process and implement it.

What was the scope of their involvement?
We defined the ideal customer profile and targets, while Belkins did a lot of research around the approach. They came up with different ideas and combined them with our marketing strategies. We tried several different tactics, but we ultimately learned from our mistakes. Over the course of our engagement, we’ve adjusted our collaboration as needed and have found an effective process for us.
They took over lead generation, email marketing, and advertising. They’re constantly creating content to support our marketing campaigns and nurture our leads.
What is the team composition?
In the very beginning, there were 3–4 people working on the project. Right now, I believe there are three. There is the lead account person who has been sharing his expertise. Right now, we have someone who is in contact with the leads and helps us with communication. We work shoulder to shoulder. Vlad (Founder & CEO) plays the role of project manager.
How did you come to work with Belkins?
They came to me. We did a trial run with them and it was successful.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began our partnership around September 2019 and it is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m very grateful for our partnership and plan to work with them for many years. They understand exactly how we work, which leads we need, and which marketing approached would be the most effective.
Although COVID-19 definitely impacted business throughout 2020, we’ve definitely seen a good return on our investment. Right now, we can generate around 5–7 calls per month.
How did Belkins perform from a project management standpoint?
They are very professional and are always available. Communication between our teams is so fluid, and that has made a huge difference in our partnership. I like how they work and how they’ve adapted to our needs. Our relationship is fantastic — we can face just about any challenge together.
We have Google Meet calls at least twice a week, depending on what we need. We also use Slack and email. They always ask questions, which makes things easier as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I think what distinguishes them is that they understand what we need. At the beginning of our partnership, they jumped right into our world. For us, this was essential. In the past, other providers we worked with weren’t successful because they didn’t care. Belkins is totally different in that regard.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I felt like they oversold me a bit at the beginning of the project. I thought they had a proven process, but we’ve needed to adjust a few times. However, they’ve improved a lot, so it is worth it for us to continue our partnership.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would recommend them to everyone. They know what they are doing, learn quickly, and steadily improve. It has been an amazing journey and we will continue it. Without Belkins, we would not be where we are right now.

As the cooperation progresses we started to build awareness of Inspector Cloud as a brand and promote our solution via content by launching a Linkedin Influencer program.

We were working with a team of SDRs and researchers and a dedicated account manager. The team has proved to be agile, flexible, and nimble. We have a smooth communication process.

At the beginning of our cooperation, we had the representation of our ICP, but during the outreach, Belkins ran analytics and made adjustments based on it to the target audience - it resulted in a more accurate profile and respectively, the quality and quantity of leads had increased.

I’m the vice president and one of the co-founders of a software service platform. Our target audience is multifamily real estate owners and developers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Belkins?
They provided us with outbound email and LinkedIn marketing. We’re a startup, so we needed assistance identifying and connecting with our ideal clients and candidates. We wanted to outsource to a firm that could handle more volume than we could internally.

What was the scope of their involvement?
When we started, they had us fill out a detailed form to figure out our target audience. After submitting this form to them, they began to put together content to appeal to these audience groups. We worked together to refine the content until I was happy with it. They then began implementing this content into our email campaign. The LinkedIn campaign started later on.
What is the team composition?
I worked directly with a project manager and an outbound prospecting specialist. There were research and content writing teams working behind the scenes as well.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They gave me weekly reports that included metrics for each activity. The market we sell into has many parameters for ideal clients, so a lot of their value came from qualifying and disqualifying potential accounts. We had some technical difficulties with the LinkedIn portion of our engagement due to the LinkedIn platform’s security measures. However, we were able to fix that and this portion of the engagement ended up being really valuable to me. I’ve been able to connect with many ideal potential clients. Whether we try to work with them now or later, they’ll be more responsive when they see we’re connected.
How did Belkins perform from a project management standpoint?
They were on top of everything, really easy to work with, and very supportive. As a startup, they were able to give us the guidance we needed and deliver a super valuable service to us. We communicated via Slack and Zoom. Their tasks were tracked directly in our Salesforce CRM.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They clearly presented their qualifications as related to the project. I didn’t feel like they were trying to pressure me into an unhelpful partnership. We’re delivering a first-to-market product, so having a full marketing team to support me was really great.

The LinkedIn portion of the project was difficult to start up. This was partially due to the security issues we had, though.

We had challenges to land in the lead’s mailbox and get them on call due to the oversaturated market. The most logical and budget-friendly solution was to find an experienced partner like Belkins who can realize the lead generation on our behalf.

We went through the onboarding process with their team, then they spent a few days preparing the leads and templates.
Also, our IT team assisted them with the mailboxes’ setup. By the end of the first week, they send us everything for a review. After we approved the templates and leads they launched outreach campaigns. Then we had a call once per week where we discussed the booked calls and the SDR worked with our feedback to improve the quality of upcoming booked calls.

We worked with 5 people and the account manager was the main point of contact.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Belkins was and is a great partner to work with. They were able to learn our product in detail, understand, and analyze our Ideal Customer Profile, prepare leads, mailboxes, email content as well as professionally support our account throughout the entire campaign.
Furthermore, they delivered multiple sales qualified leads (I don’t have the number in front of me now) and we converted around 20% of them in new paid accounts.

We were using Slack and Zoom for day to day and week calls. The team was always available in European and US working hours.
