We built a mobile app for mothers that includes: a weekly pregnancy calendar, a baby diary with development milestones, user profiles, chats and topic-based groups, a feed of posts with likes and comments, and push notifications. Importantly, the app is available on all three platforms - we launched it on App Store, Google Play, and RuStore.

We achieved an average session duration of over 4 minutes, delivered all planned features (calendar, diary, chats, feed, push notifications) on time, and built the architecture with scalability in mind, allowing for a quick addition of an Android version and new services.

The project ran through a dedicated manager, so I always had one point of contact and a clear view of status - no dropped emails, no "we'll check on that." Work moved in stages (analysis, design, development, testing), and each stage closed with a demo and sign-off, so there were no surprises at the end. Deadlines were mostly held; when something slipped, they warned me in advance and explained why instead of presenting it as a done deal. They responded to changes and new input quickly - discussing the impact on timeline and budget openly, with no hidden charges. It felt like the team owned the process itself and didn't push the coordination back onto me.

Getting into the app stores took longer than we expected - I'd have liked that stage planned in from the start, with the pitfalls flagged earlier. Otherwise no complaints; early on I might have asked for a few more interim demos to see the picture sooner. Minor points against the overall result.

The project included the full development of a health and fitness mobile app for iOS and Android. The main deliverables were the app design, AI-powered workout and nutrition plans, an activity tracker, a chat between users and coaches, testing, and the final app ready for publication.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All agreed functionality was delivered on time. AI personalization adapts plans to user data in real time. The app was handed over to the client for publishing under their developer account.

The project was completed within the agreed-upon deadline. The entire project was divided into sprints. At the end of each sprint, we were given a demo, where they explained and demonstrated what had already been done and what was currently being done. The development team and project manager were in constant contact with me. I appreciated the communication process, as all my ideas and suggestions were analyzed and they weren't afraid to be honest about whether an idea should be moved to future releases, as the implementation might deviate from core functionality to secondary features at that point.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Before starting work with this company, I spoke with many other companies and freelancers. What I found unique was the team's ability to clearly and honestly express their opinions on the effectiveness of decisions made regarding functionality, features, and priorities. Also, when we began working together, they sent me a commercial proposal that was very detailed and easy to understand. A company representative spoke with me, explaining the work plans, the steps involved, and the expected outcome in clear, understandable language.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Beetrail International Limited could have done differently?

Nothing comes to mind that I'd call a real drawback. The company has been reliable and easy to work with. If anything, continuing to invest in the things that already work well-communication, support, and team culture - would be my only note, and that's more of a 'keep doing what you're doing' than a criticism
