SoloWay Technologies supported the design, development and technical optimisation of our corporate websites, including Acumen International's new website, acumen.pro. The scope of work covered several key areas: Website design and UX/UI: Creating modern, responsive website designs, improving navigation and translating our brand identity and business requirements into a professional digital experience. WordPress development: Building and configuring websites, implementing custom layouts and functionality, and providing a flexible content management environment for our marketing team. Technical integrations: Implementing website functionality, contact forms and integrations with our marketing and lead generation processes. Cloud infrastructure and DevOps: Reviewing and optimising cloud infrastructure, configuring hosting environments, supporting deployments and improving website performance and reliability. Ongoing development and support: Implementing new features, resolving technical issues, updating website components and supporting continuous improvements after launch. The engagement involved close collaboration between our internal marketing team and SoloWay's designers, developers, project management and DevOps specialists. Our team provided the brand direction, content and business requirements, while SoloWay handled the design and technical implementation. The main deliverables included fully developed and launched corporate websites, responsive page templates, WordPress CMS functionality, technical integrations and optimised hosting infrastructure.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

The project resulted in the successful launch of our new corporate website, acumen.pro, alongside improvements to our wider digital infrastructure. Key outcomes include: Successful website launch: Delivered a fully redesigned, responsive corporate website that better represents our brand, expertise and international service offering. Improved user experience: Clearer navigation, more effective content presentation and a more intuitive experience across desktop and mobile devices. Greater marketing independence: The WordPress CMS allows our marketing team to manage content, publish new pages and make updates without relying on developers for routine changes. Improved technical infrastructure: Cloud infrastructure optimisation and DevOps support helped establish a more reliable environment for website deployment and ongoing development. Continued development: The team successfully delivered multiple website components and improvements as our requirements evolved. The most significant outcome for us is that we now have a corporate website we are genuinely proud of, both in terms of its design and how well it represents our business. The result has met our expectations and provides a strong foundation for our ongoing marketing activities.

Our experience with SoloWay's project management has been very positive. The team is well organised, responsive and easy to work with. Communication has been clear and consistent throughout the engagement. We have always had a good understanding of project progress, priorities and upcoming deliverables. The team has managed deadlines well and kept us informed whenever adjustments were needed. What we particularly appreciate is their flexibility. Our requirements sometimes change as business priorities evolve, and SoloWay has been very accommodating without compromising the quality of their work. The team demonstrated strong technical expertise and a proactive approach throughout the project. They anticipated potential challenges, offered well-considered solutions and provided expert recommendations rather than simply following instructions. Their project manager coordinated the work across design, development and DevOps effectively, making the collaboration straightforward and productive. Overall, the collaboration has been professional, productive and genuinely enjoyable.

Virtual Meeting

What impressed me most about SoloWay was the combination of technical expertise, creative thinking and genuine commitment to the quality of the final product. They approached the project as experienced professionals who understood our business objectives, not just as developers executing a technical brief. They were proactive in identifying potential issues, suggesting improvements and finding solutions we might not have considered ourselves. We particularly appreciated their attention to detail, their willingness to challenge ideas constructively and their ability to translate our vision into a website that we are genuinely proud of. Equally important was the human side of the collaboration. The team was approachable, engaged and clearly cared about the outcome. It felt like working with a committed extension of our own team rather than an external supplier.

We cannot identify any significant areas for improvement. Our experience with SoloWay has been consistently positive, and the team has been receptive to feedback and willing to make adjustments whenever needed. As our collaboration continues, we would welcome even more proactive recommendations on emerging technologies and opportunities to improve our digital infrastructure. Given the team's expertise, I see this as an opportunity to expand an already successful partnership rather than address any shortcomings.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

SoloWay Technologies developed a voice AI agent powered by Bland.AI that handled phone calls with veterinary clinics and processed their requests related to pet insurance policies in real time during the conversation. The conversational layer, including dialogue flow, speech recognition, and voice synthesis, was handled by Bland. AI. The SoloWay team built a Django and Django REST Framework backend that exposed a set of custom tools as HTTP endpoints. The agent could call these tools during the conversation to identify a clinic by its phone number, verify whether an insurance company existed in the system, retrieve a list of available insurance providers, and search for a policy by number while returning the relevant coverage details. Most of SoloWay's work focused on designing these tools specifically for a voice-based interaction. This included normalizing the data interpreted by the agent, such as converting policy numbers to uppercase and removing spaces or hyphens, as well as implementing fuzzy matching for insurance company names. They also introduced a consistent response format with an error flag, allowing the agent to handle “not found” cases correctly instead of failing during the call. In addition, SoloWay Technologies implemented a dedicated webhook through which Bland.AI sent the final call results. The integration was developed iteratively: the SoloWay team made test calls, reviewed the transcripts and the actual parameters passed by the agent to each tool, and then refined the tool schemas and normalization logic accordingly.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

SoloWay Technologies provided regular updates on the platform's development and ensured on-time testing of all newly delivered features.

• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive and unique aspect of SoloWay Technologies was their deep understanding of our industry-specific needs combined with their agility and flexibility in development.

Industry Expertise and Insight:

SoloWay Technologies demonstrated a remarkable understanding of the veterinary sector, especially the complexities of emergency shift scheduling and communication. Their proactive approach to identifying challenges specific to veterinary practices set them apart from other development companies.
They took the time to learn about our users’ pain points, which enabled them to design features that were not only functional but also highly intuitive and practical for our target audience.
Agility and Flexibility:

Their agile development methodology allowed us to make iterative changes throughout the project without disrupting the timeline or budget. This flexibility was crucial as it enabled us to adapt the software to evolving requirements and feedback from early users.

Are there any areas for improvement or something SoloWay Technologies could have done differently?

While SoloWay Technologies delivered exceptional results and demonstrated great expertise, there are a few areas where they could improve to enhance the overall experience:

More Detailed Initial Planning:

While the agile approach allowed for flexibility, a more detailed initial project scope and timeline could have helped manage expectations better.
There were a few instances where requirements evolved, impacting the timeline. A more thorough initial discovery phase might have helped anticipate some of these changes.
Enhanced Documentation:

Although the software was well-designed, the technical documentation provided could have been more comprehensive, especially for onboarding new team members and for long-term maintenance.
Providing detailed user manuals and training materials would have eased the transition for veterinary practices adopting the new platform.
Proactive Communication on Risks:

While communication was generally effective, there were a few moments where potential risks (like integration challenges with third-party systems) could have been communicated earlier.
A more proactive risk management strategy would enhance transparency and allow for contingency planning.
Post-Launch Support and Feedback Integration:

Post-launch support was reliable, but a more structured approach to collecting user feedback and planning subsequent updates could improve user satisfaction.
Implementing a feedback loop to prioritize feature enhancements based on user input would help continuously refine the product.
Scalability Considerations:

Although the platform was stable and efficient, a more detailed scalability strategy could be beneficial as user adoption grows.
Addressing performance optimization and scalability during the development phase would better support rapid growth and higher user volumes.
These areas for improvement are relatively minor compared to the overall success of the project. Implementing these suggestions could enhance SoloWay Technologies’ development process and further strengthen their client relationships.
