What challenge were you trying to address with Baytech.work?

I needed someone to help me develop a website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, I gave Baytech a list of what we needed and access to the web hosting I found. After that, they created a logo and developed my website.

The site showcased our company’s different services, and it allowed users to register and request home care. Baytech looked at other sites on the Nigerian market and found appropriate stock photos for our site. Additionally, they gave me ideas for future site improvement and advice on how to optimize Google rankings. 

I plan to work with them again once I get clients since they’re a reliable provider.

What is the team composition?

Adebayo (General Manager) was our point of contact, but I don’t know how many people were involved in the project.

How did you come to work with Baytech.work?

I found them by chance. I was looking for a web developer in Nigeria and found their website. We had a few chats about how much it costs to develop a website and what functionalities a site needs to have.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around 80,000 naira (approximately $200 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership lasted from November 2020–June 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Baytech told me to register on Google My Business, and we’re getting a lot of traffic.

How did Baytech.work perform from a project management standpoint?

Baytech was good at project management. We communicated mainly through WhatsApp, email, and phone calls. We didn’t use project management tools, and I just sent them screenshots when I wanted something changed.

Their general manager was a good communicator, and he was very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with their communication skills. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They weren’t able to set up our social media accounts. Other than that, everything was good.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

You should have all the necessary information in place.

I’m a statistician and professor of statistics. I offer big data analysis services at all levels, both academically and for industries.

We also perform opinion polls on social issues, such as who forgives more easily between men and women.

What challenge were you trying to address with Baytech.work?

I wanted to make my services accessible globally. I contacted them to help design a blog for me.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Baytech.work created a website for my statistical data analysis services, called DataHavilah.com. The idea and content are mine. I simply needed the expertise to launch it to the web. They made extensions linking the blog to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp, and so on.

How did you come to work with Baytech.work?

A friend had used them to create her blog, and she referred me to Baytech.work.

How much have you invested with them?

The project cost was 140,000 Nigerian naira ($400 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with Baytech.work between October and November 2020. The project took two weeks to complete. We could’ve probably finished the site in 2–3 days, but I didn’t have enough time to work with them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re still working on SEO and social media, and we haven’t fully launched the site. I am getting a few visitors, as well as inquiries from potential partners. I’ll be able to talk more about the traffic in a couple of weeks.

How did Baytech.work perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed excellently. I briefed them on my goals for the site, and we set the ball rolling after that.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very patient and willing to address my questions and concerns.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s difficult to pinpoint something. There’s always room for improvement in life, but what I’ve seen from Baytech so far is quite satisfactory.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Baytech can work with the client as a team, or they can work alone, with little or no supervision.

We hired Baytech.work because we needed to have a website built.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a custom WordPress website for us. They did everything, including securing the domain, creating the pages, and all other development.

We had one point of contact.

How did you come to work with Baytech.work?

They were referred to us by a friend of mine. I liked what I saw in their portfolio, so I decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $2,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement took place in September 2020.

They delivered exactly what I asked for. I was very satisfied.

How did Baytech.work perform from a project management standpoint?

They showed me their progress and were willing to make any changes I requested. We used WhatsApp and email for communication between our teams. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by the way they responded to my feedback — it was better than my past experiences with other companies. They were quick to deliver, as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing.

I would recommend working with them.
