I’m the VP of marketing for a SaaS company that provides services for the call center industry.

We wanted to find new ways of demand generation, so we hired Bay Leaf.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bay Leaf is handling our LinkedIn ads. Every week, we have check-in meetings where we review our metrics and discuss how our ads are performing. 

What is the team composition?

We work with Abhi (Managing Partner) and Ashley (Client Strategist). Other people are involved behind the scenes, but we only regularly meet with Abhi and Ashley. 

How did you come to work with Bay Leaf Digital?

Bay Leaf was referred to us by an old colleague of mine. We decided that they were the best fit for us because they did ads specifically for companies that provided SaaS services in the tech sector like ours.

We’ve invested around $80,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in July 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve seen an increase in the amounts of our conversions. 

How did Bay Leaf Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Bay Leaf’s project management is good. To communicate, we talk on Slack and through weekly calls on Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is incredibly attentive, and they focus on the numbers that matter. They genuinely care about our conversion, ensuring they’re substantial enough that they turn into revenue for our organization. In other words, they have a genuine interest in how the leads progress down the pipeline. On top of that, they’re also truly interested in trying out new things. They do a great job of integrating themselves into our marketing department.

No, there aren’t any.

Be transparent with the numbers you have and around your upcoming marketing campaigns. That way, Bay Leaf will integrate well with you, which is important for success.

I’m the COO of Weiner’s Ltd. We sell travel-size and travel-related products.

For what projects/services did your company hire Bay Leaf Digital?

We originally hired Bay Leaf to transition us from Magento 1.72 to Magento 2.3 and handle SEO. Later, we expanded their scope to include comprehensive digital marketing.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to grow our revenue and increase the number of users filling out our new customer applications online.

How did you select this vendor?

We had phone conversations with several digital marketing agencies. Bay Leaf came recommended by our web developer and our inventory control software. We ultimately chose them because of their familiarity with our current vendors and their vision for what work needed to be done.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

After we signed with them, we had several discovery meetings to talk about our business and goals. From there, we gave them access to various tools such as our Google Analytics, Magento Admin area, and sales data. They provided various recommendations regarding SEO improvements including modifying new customer applications, restructuring categories and product pages, and automating customer engagement. They also start a blog for us. Since the initial project ended, we've continued to have bi-weekly meetings to discuss current activities and future projects.

Abhi (Managing Partner, Bay Leaf Digital) and Sandy (Business Analyst, Bay Leaf Digital) have been our primary points of contact. We’ve also communicated with other staff working on our project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We started receiving so many new customer applications that we had to change how we processed them. The number of applications we received in one month now equals the number we used to receive in six months. This has led to a significant increase in monthly sales.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We communicate daily about current activities to ensure we hit our deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Bay Leaf’s willingness to take on activities outside the scope of work has been fantastic. For example, when we had issues with website speed, they dove deep into our server to pinpoint the cause and provided our web developer a list of items to fix.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, not that I can think of.

We’ve come a long way since launching the product. Within a year, we’ve established a growing base of paid subscribers. There’s been substantial traffic to our site, along with email campaigns and leads that have improved the efficiency of our sales department.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Bay Leaf Digital helped us produce content and manage a marketing schedule for an entire year, which was a huge success. We also saw tangible results, such as increased traffic and leads and more exposure. People knew who we were. Overall, the team took a completely dead, non-functioning marketing motion and jump-started it.

Bay Leaf Digital delivered on time and managed the project incredibly well. They stayed on schedule and were fast to iterate it when needed. The team also stayed within budget. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.
