I’m the founder and CEO of a fast-growing tech startup based in the UK.

What challenge were you trying to address withbART Solutions?

We had a specific software development requirement and wanted to leverage external expertise to address it because we were unable to bring people to the organization fast enough to meet the needs of our customers. On top of that, the market was very hot.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a software product to support some of the work that we were doing. It was a piece of software that my company and our customers could use. We provided limited documentation and no wireframes, and they were able to do the front- and backend development very quickly and efficiently. They completed the software by the beginning of August 2021 and now we’re doing new projects with them.

We approached a number of organizations on Upwork and looked at the ones with the best reviews and companies who had a success rate of 98% or more. We had a very good conversation with their CEO and started our relationship from there.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were so impressed with the quality of their work that we decided to negotiate a strategic partnership with them. We were happy with the outcome of the software and it had been a big success. Everybody internally thought that our software was great and we also had feedback from four customers who said that they loved it. On top of that, during the code review, we found their work to be flawless.

We were impressed that there weren't any bugs on our software, and the issues we had were only on our side. We spent a lot of money on consultancies and subcontractors, and it was usually a waste of time. This was one of the few instances where we didn't waste our resources and valuable time. Overall, bART Solutions could act as an extension of our organization.

How did bART Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They were exceptional and they used standard product management tools. When we asked for something to be done in a two-week sprint, they completed it in less than a week which helped us accomplish all of our success criteria, which was quite difficult to do. On top of that, our team members were able to carefully review and provide critical feedback to them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were an ambitious group of people, and they had the technical expertise behind that ambition. Furthermore, they had a great formula for success and I’d like to see them continue to grow so that we could leverage them more. I just hope that they'd be able to continue attracting talent to their company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They had a US-based legal entity, but I would've preferred a legal entity that could be easily contacted within Ukraine.

Be crystal clear with your requirements and trust that they have the team, the skills, and the attitude to get the project done.

Our customers are satisfied, and they really like the new version of the website. The 3D measurements they’ve worked on are enjoyed by our users. It has been a very good cooperation.

They usually work with my assistant. We communicate through email, Slack, and sometimes have Skype calls. Communication is always easy and smooth.

I like that they understand all of my ideas and they devote a lot of time. They help me with my ideas, including the 3D measurements, and they always communicate well. Whenever I have any requests, they react really quickly, and they are a great help.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We haven’t had any issues, but if I wanted to change something, I would just let them know. They’ve done what I’ve wanted them to do so it hasn't been a big deal.

Don’t hesitate to work with bART Solutions because I think they are one of the best. They’re really good professionals with a lot of experience. I don’t have any issues with them and have even recommended them to my friends. They’re a really good and reliable company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

bART Solutions created a website and mobile app called Get To Know. It’s an educational platform that allows users to find college courses, track progress, and get certified more conveniently.

The key point of the app is that it allows the opportunity for students to do the course at their own convenience while having the right level of support. Once a course is purchased, the student receives unlimited access to the course materials.

The team also developed a mobile app called Super Camp. It is a unique place for children to show their inner talents. Teachers can help them develop their skills, and parents can keep up with the latest opportunities, as well as their child’s achievements.

Both apps are for iOS and Android. For web development, they used C#, Sparkle technologies, and the latest .NET.

I’m a product manager for Go&Drive. My company provides bikes for public use, which people can rent through our app. We’re a relatively new company and have been in existence for three years.
