I am a co-founder and CEO of a production company that does a range of work from Super Bowl ads to feature films.

How did you select this vendor?

We have collaborated with Barretto on a few projects for mutual clients and recognized their immense talent, professionalism, work ethic and joy in the work they do so we reached out to them to help us.

Being in a creative space, it was a treat to have the chance to be guided through a creative process with such ease, skill and humor. They are the real deal. We had a lot of fun with the process because they made the space for it and had such tightly organized agendas.

First Barretto meet with us to understand our goals and begin to define the scope. They provided documentation that verified what our stated goals were and outlined the steps needed to accomplish each phase with examples. We had several calls as a group and individually to keep us on track and adjust as needed.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our work with Barretto unified and motivated the team. They focused our efforts in a positive way and clarified the necessary next steps to be successful. We also have a much better idea of what our future challenges will be so we can be prepared for them and be proactive.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Barretto is highly organized which is critical for creative work to be able to be successful and take risks. They provided a solid framework for us dream big. We had scheduled Zoom calls with the group that had an agenda and a central repository for all assets. Barretto always hit deadlines and make sure the project was on target. Another gift for me who often plays that role. It was always done tactfully and in a timely fashion.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Barretto-Co. provides next-level creativity. Extraordinary work you can't find anywhere. They are able to be flexible and innovative at a very high level. I appreciate and seek out genuinely kind and enjoyable people which they very much embody but when it comes down to it they are the best at what they do.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. They exceeded expectations on all levels.

Our development center provides services to those with developmental delays, including Autism, in California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and Hawaii.

Founded in 2012, we deliver personalized, family-based, and culturally sensitive treatments and achieve evidence-based positive outcomes for Autism patients in our communities.

Our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysis, occupational, speech, and psychological therapies, provides individualized and cutting-edge diagnostic and therapy services.

Our mission is to open a world of possibilities for those with Autism and other developmental needs through science, compassion, and humility.

During this project I was the social media manager and I'm now the Brand and Content Manager.

We hired Barretto-Co. we redesign our website and to help us launch our new education benefit, Dreams Come TRUE.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

This vendor was chosen by my team prior to me working for the company and I am unaware how they were chosen.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Typically, we present our idea for the project and discuss how to best bring the idea to life. After coming up with a plan we provide the content which is briskly followed up by an initial design round.

We provide feedback and Barretto updates the design. After the design is approved by our team Barretto starts developing the content.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We've worked with many people throughout Barretto's team. Jeff is a great project manager. Derek is an amazing developer. Steve is a legendary designer and always explains his reasoning behind ideas.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our website came out absolutely beautiful. Our new branding was well received and they gave us all the tools we needed to carry that branding out throughout the rest of the company.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow between teams was great. We used basecamp to keep all project request and updates in one area. Barretto was quick to respond and always worked within our tight deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They we're really great to work with. Very adaptable and always wThey truly care about the UX and the overall quality of their work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nobody is perfect but there were a few instances where a little more attention to detail would have been helpful.

I was Founder and Executive Director at a Behavioral Health company that employed over 500 team members and served kids and families across multiple states. I eventually became the Chief Strategy Officer and reamined in that position once our company was acquired in 2021.

For what projects/services did your company hire Barretto-Co.?

In 2016 we started working with Barretto-Co because we wanted to change our company name and do a full rebrand. Steve and his team guided us through the entire process from identifying a new name, developing a logo and brand identity, redesigning all of our marketing materials, website, collateral, swag, and launching in February of 2017. When the project was complete, Steve's team continued to serve as a great partner for us anytime we needed new designs, fliers, updates to our website, etc. We reengaged with them in 2021 when our company was acquired and we were merging several logos and brands that were acquired.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We found several firms in our community that we connected with and received bids from. After reviewing the bids and each firms portfolios of past work, we chose Barretto-Co.

Steve and his team were able to assist us with every piece of our renaming and rebranding project from meeting with our stakeholders and surveying our team for ideas, to name generation, design, brand identity, graphics, photography, website, collateral, and even ordering of swag and booth set ups.

What was the team composition?

We worked closely with Steve and a few other members of his team based on each of their expertise. They were prompt, organized and a pleasure to work with, even when faced with some challenges or pushback from my team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our rename and rebrand in 2017 was a huge success and launched us to become a nationally recognized brand in our behavioral health space. They really got to know who we are and what we value and made that shine through in our marketing.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very smooth. The team was always prompt with their deliverables and timelines. They were also great and gently holding my team accountable for deadlines so we could keep the project progressing on time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The care and consideration that Steve and the team took to truly get to know who we are, what we do, and what we value, resulted in a very aligned vision and strategy for our rename and rebrand.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Nothing I can think of. We continued to work with them from 2016 - 2021 and have never been disappointed.

Barretto was very responsive and had quick turnaround times for all projects.  They did the graphics on 3 newsletters a year for 3 years as well as creating the banner that set the tone for each years' theme.

We hired Barretto to lead a rebranding for our company, including a name change and new visual identity.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Barretto led a diverse staff and board steering committee through the rebranding process. The team delivered a new name, logo, color palette, graphics, typography, and brand guidelines.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 5-7 teammates from Barretto, but the founder, Steve, was heavily involved throughout every step of the process.

How did you come to work with Barretto?

A contact from the Communications Network referred Barretto to me. We chose them over other options because they were a great culture fit, their pricing fit our budget, and as a fellow B Corp, their company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together between January 2025 and January 2026.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t launched the rebrand yet, but our staff and board were incredibly well aligned with Barretto. They guided our process smoothly, and when we hit some bumps in the road, they were perfect partners to refocus and get us to a shared goal.

How did Barretto perform from a project management standpoint?

Jeff was an incredible project manager. He was responsive, flexible, friendly, attentive, and informative — truly everything we could ask for in a project manager. We communicated via virtual meetings and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Barretto was a talented and thoughtful team. We loved working with them at every step of the way and couldn’t recommend them more.

I’m an administrative assistant at MetWest, an alternative high school that uses students’ interests to drive their education.

What challenge were you trying to address with Barretto?

We needed to rebrand our school to draw attention to our school and its mission.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

After a couple of meetings with our lead team, Barretto designed our new logo, which was incorporated into document headers, professional slides, letterheads, promotional materials, spirit gear. They also designed a large mural of our mascot, the dragon, to promote spirit in the school. Lastly, they designed signs for the front and back entrances. All of this gave MetWest a new fresh look. Barretto worked with producers of the MetWest gear and the signs to ensure everything was completed professionally.

We worked with 2–5 teammates from Barretto.

We found them through a referral. We chose them over other options because they were a great culture fit.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Barretto completed all the designs. Staff, students, families and school district personnel noticed the new logo and interior design right away. All comments were very positive. When we wear our new MetWest gear, people notice.

How did Barretto perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very responsive and timely. It felt like there was no task they couldn’t accomplish. To this day, they still help us with requests.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team was very professional. Barretto was particularly good at drawing out what the school wanted and needed and then creating it. They didn’t push their own ideas but took in what we said, consolidated it, and then made suggestions and creations that blew us away.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The limitations were only on our end, mainly our budget.
