I’m the IT manager for a company that develops, operates, and advises on retail and mixed-use properties. We specialize in luxury and urban shopping centers across major US markets.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ayvant IT Services?

We initially hired Ayvant IT Services to move our IT infrastructure to another location.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ayvant IT Services manages our cybersecurity, provides day-to-day support, helps us plan our tech requirements and implementations, and supports our critical apps and cloud infrastructure. They also handle AI governance and compliance, so we get all-around tech services from Ayvant IT Services.In terms of specific projects, Ayvant IT Services has migrated our Argus on-prem real estate management system to Argus Cloud. They’ve also migrated our active directory from on-prem to Azure and recently migrated us from a legacy lease management system to a modern infrastructure.

We found them through an online search. We chose them over other IT service providers because they had high ratings, good value for cost, and company values aligned with ours.

We started working with them in October 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measure Ayvant IT Services’ success based on milestones, downtime, and overall system performance. Our on-prem system was always slow and intermittent for employees outside of our headquarters. Since most of our employees are in other locations throughout the country, Ayvant IT Services analyzed the situation, did their assessments, and came up with a plan to host the entire infrastructure on the cloud.Since they completed this migration two years ago, our system has been running much faster, and our team wastes no time waiting for the servers to respond. They’re more efficient. Additionally, Ayvant IT Services’ proactive approach to bug fixing is unbeatable. They fix most of the issues before they hit our production.

How did Ayvant IT Services perform from a project management standpoint?

They have amazing control over project management. They have a set hierarchy where we have an account manager who works as a liaison between me and the Ayvant IT Services team. His job is to keep the tasks and milestones moving.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ayvant IT Services goes above and beyond to ensure we’re happy, productive, and efficient.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could add more details to the tickets, like a step-by-step of what they did. However, I guess it’s not required and might slow them down.

Sean brings a unique skill set with him from the very first meeting. He listens to the problems, formats solutions and implements them. When fine tuning is required, he solves those problems just as quickly.

What more could a small business owner hope for? Just knowing that I can call him for any challenges I encounter eases my stress load substantially.
