We hired them to redesign our site and improve SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They rebuilt our entire WordPress site from scratch.  They’ve done all the coding for our site and have created UX that is easy to navigate. Our platform is well-organized so content is digestible.  We completely rebranded as well, so Avtintiv Media redesigned the logo and colors as well. They created a whole branding board that includes typography and font hierarchy. Then they did keyword research and wrote blog content to improve SEO.

I was in a meeting with other business professionals and I told my PPC manager that we needed to redesign our site. She recommended that I talked to Avintiv Media.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website has exceeded our expectations. In terms of SEO, they’re crushing it. They’re a boutique so they provide personalized attention for each of their clients. The design process was great; it was a very collaborative effort and it really felt like they were part of our team.

How did Avintiv Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Timeliness was very important to me, so they were dedicated to finishing the project by the projected date of completion. They also provided monthly reports on what they were working on and what bugs needed to be fixed.

We used Google Drive to share information. We also used Zoom and email because it was very simple and efficient. Monica was great at organizing everybody.

During the initial design process, we had regularly scheduled meetings. Now that they’re just working on SEO, we meet about once a month to go over the report.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was very impressed with the attention to detail they showed when working on the backend. They developed creative solutions that met Google’s standards.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Of course, we would have liked the project to be done sooner, but that’s not completely realistic.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would definitely recommend them; you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Of course, it probably helps if your company is up and running for a bit first so you have some capital. On top of that, you need to have an idea of what you want. They’ll help you fine-tune it so you get the best outcome.

What challenge were you trying to address with Avintiv Media?

We wanted our company to have a stronger brand identity and positioning. We need to establish what our business does, which requires major changes, to appeal to audiences online.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our ongoing project with Avintiv Media started with initial consultations about what we needed. We showed them our materials — existing website, designs, and more — and they gave their insights and proposals. The engagement went from then on; they redesign our homepage and systematize our materials. They refine our website’s branding using WordPress and Adobe software. The team is also in charge of processing and publishing various forms and reviews.

We work with four members of the Avintiv Media team; the owner, project manager, designer, and coder.

Avintiv Media’s owner also lives in our town and we were impressed with their portfolio. We reviewed their works and the brands they’ve worked with. We liked their polish and sophisticated outputs so we decided to work with them.

The work began in June 2018 and it’s still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

End users give positive feedback on our website. Our friends, colleagues, and affiliates also like the efforts Anictiv Media has put through. The outputs they deliver are exactly aligned with our company’s brand.

How did Avintiv Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great to work with. There were times that we couldn’t assist or supervise them on some tasks because we had other projects on our end. But Avintiv Media shows that they could work well and deliver what we want despite that. Communication is also smooth. The team is always responsive, which we appreciate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Avintiv Media immediately stood out to us since our initial meeting together. They’re quick to recognize and pick up what we want for our website and brand. We like that they do their research and analysis of our company to help improve the process. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We can’t think of any complaints on our end. Some problems we’ve previously encountered weren’t their fault.

Before working with them, think about what you want — what brand identity and what your goals are. Once you know what you want, they’ll amplify that and bring great results.

I’m the co-owner of Goat Grass CBD and I run operations.

What challenge were you trying to address with Avintiv Media?

We needed a boost and a facelift for our brand. The business is about helping people sleep and improving overall health, and we felt we weren’t delivering that through our existing materials.

Our logo, packaging, and labels were designed by a different company and we weren’t happy with the quality. We wanted to be more modern and get more brand recognition.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built our brand. Jon (CEO) and his team did market research, polling our target audience, and showing us how far short of the mark we actually were. The team gave us huge corrections on the logo, the colors, and a mission statement.

They also helped us with social media marketing and even did some product shots with digital mockups. It felt like we received a year’s worth of information in just one meeting with Avintiv Media.

Our main points of contact were Jon, who overlooked everything, and Josh (Creative Director) who kept us in the loop about the designs and asked for our feedback.

We worked with them from March–August 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

There was an improvement in our sales, social media engagement, and even positive responses from friends, family, and customers. They taught us the basics of SEO so we knew what they were doing. Jon was able to get us from the eighth page for one of our keywords to the second page, and eventually the first.

We experienced more growth in the three months working with them than the three months that we had on our own.

How did Avintiv Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Jon kept us informed along the way regarding his progress with the SEO. We also had a timeline that tracked when tasks were completed. If they had any questions or concerns that needed our input they would just contact us via email, text, or phone call.

For our meetings, Jon scheduled everything via email and Google Calendar, keeping everything professional.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I would say their brand-building was the most impressive aspect of the project. They still wow me in terms of brand recognition, logos, web development, and marketing. I sent referrals to other people in my network regarding Avintiv Media’s services and they were equally wowed as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I honestly can’t think of any improvements because they delivered such five-star service to us and others and because I haven’t worked with another company that came close.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would just show them the before and after of our logo and tell them that if they care about their brand, they should set up an appointment and consultation with Jon and Avintiv Media and go from there.

I’m the general manager at Global Thermoforming. We're a terraforming plastics company,  and we basically specialize in the automotive, aerospace, and medical industry. We make a lot of plastic parts for those industries. We’ve been in business for over 30 years now.

We’ve been doing business for a very long time, but we hadn’t put a lot of effort into our website. We wanted people to know what we were capable of and wanted a website that would highlight those capabilities.

Avintiv Media redesigned our entire website, provided branding services, monthly SEO services, and blogs. They also helped us hire photographers to help with our images in the past.

I’d met John once or twice in college but we didn’t really know each other too well. However, my brother knew him and referred him to me to work on my website. So I reached out to him.

I think we’ve spent right around $100,000.

We started working with them in December 2018 and the engagement is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Things are going extremely well. They initially quoted for 5–6 months for the website redesign, but they managed to finish it in three months. The website’s overall design and layout are really simple, but it looks very good, not only for us but to our customers.

How did Avintiv Media perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a recap and a meeting once a month where they explain what the team is going to be working on next. They make sure to keep me up-to-date.

Before the pandemic, we would meet in person. I sometimes go to them and sometimes they come to my plant for tours. For the first 2–4 months, we conducted the meetings in person. Now, we’ve just been doing some calls and conference calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Everything they say, they do, which I very much respect. They've managed to surpass my expectations and they continue to do so.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If I’m going to be supercritical, I would just say that they could reach out more to me. They could ask for a little bit more information.

Give them as much information that you can. Be very descriptive so they know exactly what you’re looking for.

What challenge were you trying to address with Avintiv Media?

I needed branding services and a website for my new matchmaking company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The engagement started with a discovery process and market research. The team wrote a report on cost estimates, growth potential, and competitors. I met the founder and CEO, who led Avintiv’s efforts to build my company from scratch. They designed the website to reflect the clientele, which they identified through research and our 30-40 item matchmaking questionnaire. During development, Avintiv had me coordinate privacy statements and other legal issues with attorneys. They introduced me to accountants as well. The team also named, licensed, and branded the company with business cards and a logo in purple, black, and silver.

Currently, they manage the Instagram and Facebook account. They’re now focusing on lead generation across print, digital, and social media platforms. The website is completed but we are still adding the legal disclaimers to it.

The website and our social media presence have generated positive feedback. Users are impressed and supportive of the business. Additionally, the market research was worth it because it confirmed that the business would be lucrative.
