Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Rebuild an educational platform, with lots of improvements on the user experience. The platform accomodates different roles: educational developers log in in order to add content (this happens weekly), school admins log in to manage accounts and license, teachers log in to prepare and execute lessons and pupils log in to do exercises. The platform also comes with some api connections, for single sign on and the relations database of our company.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

A working platform where educational developers, school admins, teachers and pupils can do their tasks in an easy way. During the process, we continuously work together with all stakeholders. Measurable outcomes will be the succes in testing with users. 

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Both the scrum master and developers are very proactive and ask the right questions in order to clarify the acceptance criteria. It's a large project, but the developers need to work on small parts. Meanwhile, the scrum master and product owners keep the overview. In this way, we all are able to manage expectations and deliver features on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The way the team works together and is able to break down a complex project in workable pieces. There is a very open atmosphere in which we can share thoughts. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Atom Rotterdam could have done differently?

Sometimes we both have to think about solutions which work within time and budget. In the project we can't delete any features, so we have to make it possible within the boudaries we have.

ATOM uses the software tool Jira for project management. This works clearly and transparently. You enter into an agreement for support. ATOM follows up on the agreements made properly.

The knowledge and expertise in the field of Drupal. ATOM is truly a specialist and fully up to date with (new) laws and regulations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Atom Rotterdam could have done differently?

No. If something is going on and you report this to ATOM, it will be worked on. It is up to you to contact us in time and discuss what works for you or not, as ATOM has standardized procedures.
