We hired Artifex to provide Facebook Ads strategy, execution, and reporting for multiple high-growth eCommerce companies. Jhana worked across a number of different eCommerce verticals, ran multi-faceted ads strategies, and built custom reporting dashboards to present to founders.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Jhana built us a custom Google Data Studio dashboard that allowed us to centralize all of our ads & business reporting into one place. The dashboard was also useful in visualizing customer LTV — which is super important in the eCommerce space. Additionally, Jhana set up custom Zapier automations for our clients to help them better attribute sales to their Facebook ad results.

This really helped our reporting as an organization and increased our clients' Return on Ad Spend. Finally, Jhana was also able to run and facilitate interesting ads experiments across clients as well. He was able to design campaign structures that helped us make broader business decisions for our clients.

Jhana is a great communicator. He uses many different mediums to turn complex advertising principles into digestible information. He was willing to work directly with us, but also speak to our clients directly as well. He is also fully capable of working independently, without oversight.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I really enjoyed the way that Jhana was able to integrate into our internal company’s systems & processes. It didn’t feel like we were purchasing a standardized & rigid service. Instead, we found someone who was far more agile and flexible when it came to fitting into LaunchPop’s needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Price is certainly a factor. Hiring Jhana from Artifex is expensive, and companies should make sure they bring on Artifex for projects that justify such an arrangement.

Artifex helped us measure key business KPIs to a much higher degree of accuracy. The efficacy of our paid program will improve significantly now that we can track the custom events we want to. 

We were able to track conversions on the Facebook Ad platform across our core website, a number of different landing pages, as well as within our custom form tool.

We hired Artifex for two professional audits of our Google Ads account. The first audit went over all of our major campaigns, conversion tracking, ad copy, targeting, and bidding strategies. We then brought Jhana in again 6 weeks later for a second audit to make sure that the changes we implemented are effective.

Jhana gave us the tools to seriously scale up our paid acquisition efforts on the Google Ads platforms. Because of the audit, we were able to seriously improve the efficiency of our existing campaigns, as well as launch a number of new ones as well. Since then, the overall conversion rate of our ad account has increased by 9.5%, we’ve increased our search market share by 10%, and ads-attributed revenue has increased by 1,190%!

Jhana was able to work very quickly and efficiently. He delivered us 30+ minute loom videos through his auditing process. They were very useful to watch and implement his suggestions precisely. This communication style was highly effective for our business.

The speed at which they are able to deliver work was impressive. It’s also very impressive the way that they communicate with their clients.

Artifex’s prices come at a premium. They are definitely more expensive than other agencies. That being said, the quality of work shines through and makes it justifiable. We’d work with them again.

Artifex helped us launch ads across Google, Facebook, and Pinterest. Within those platforms, we ran many campaign types including search, display, shopping, and catalog sales. We were able to launch advertising efforts targeting every part of the marketing funnel from cold prospecting to robust remarketing.

We worked directly with Jhana the founder and Mark a platform specialist. The two of them worked well with us, keeping us up to date with results, strategy shifts, and creative suggestions.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to successfully test the efficacy of paid ads for Bailly. We were able to glean different cross-platform insights and realize that certain platforms lended themselves better to our online store. We were also able to have a far better idea of many of our key online metrics such as cost per acquisition, conversion rate, repeat customer rates, and lifetime value.

We worked primarily via email while also completing zoom calls throughout the month. We were able to launch our first ad just 10 days after signing a deal due to smooth project management from all parties.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their level of organization in their onboarding process was top notch. Artifex ran us through all account access, creative strategy sessions, campaign breakdowns, budget allocations, copywriting, and more within a very short amount of time. It’s clear they pay a lot of attention to the client experience during the onboarding phase.

Artifex & Bailly could’ve worked more closely together aligning organic and paid strategies. We could’ve provided more organic support to help the paid plan leverage certain milestones such as promotions, product launches, etc

Since setting up the Google Shopping campaigns, after a month of experimentation, we saw good returns on a ROAS basis.

Fascia is a fairly new idea in my industry and I needed highly effective strategy and savvy implementation for advertising that carefully educated the public. The problem I faced was how to reach a market that needs our service but required a little education as well.

I was referred to Jhana at Artifex by a marketing strategist I hired to focus mainly on business growth. After one conversation with Jhana I was immediately impressed by his clarity and decisiveness. He educated me throughly on his process and was able to guide be towards best steps for my project and company.

The scope of work started with strategic phase looking into all the services and products we offer seeing how they could be brought together for a more coherence and synchronous sales. Then Jhana walked me through the process of setting up analytics and tactical back end of my website.

Afterwards we began working on actual marketing profiles and building campaigns. Jhana is excellent with understanding psychographics not only demographics of potential customers and has a keen mind for how to implement this into campaigns.

We finished by creating a few initial test campaigns before ramping up to full larger scale ads buys. This was really appreciated and smart for my company and I valued Jhana's ability to work both in the micro and micro to match my companies size and budgets.

I recently finished the first stage of this project so I will see more clearly the outcomes in the next few months however I have no doubt what so ever that there will be major performance from what Jhana has done. Its masterful.

Management style is clean, concise. I have rarely if ever met a more effective communicator and educator so I was always abreast of everything, it was a true collaboration back and forth. Exchanges were timely as were turn arounds on items. Artifex runs as a highly effective machine.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Jhana. Period. He is generous with his information, helps to educate you and make good decisions, knows when to lean in and push and when to sit back and flow. His expertise is next level and ability to perform is bar none. He is rare when I say he is a brilliantly balanced mind- it is true its the perfect combo of creative and analytic right left brain that functions optimally.

I have hired and fired a lot of people because they couldn't do what they said. I will continue to hire Jhana with all my future projects. He just makes it easy, a true expert at craft.

This I won't know until I see results. But there is nothing for improvement in the process and scope of work. It was flawless.

Jhana & I had an initial creative strategy call, identifying unique value props for my business so that we could weave them into the messaging of our advertisements. I provided Jhana with budget, guidelines, brief explanation of our niche market, and also assets (photos/videos etc.)

Jhana identified a robust bidding strategy based on my individual product margins. He was responsible for setting-up my Google Ads account, to create new campaigns both on Facebook, Pinterest and Google---whilst improving any which needed improving.

Jhana leveraged Catalog Sales & Conversion campaigns on Facebook to increase revenue. While also launching & scaling Search and Shopping Ads on the Google Ads platform.

Since we started working together, our:

• ECommerce Revenue has increased by 53%
• Transaction volume has increased by 82%
• Revenue attributed to digital advertising has increased by 305%

These results greatly exceed my initial expectations and goals. I have had only positive responses by my target market.

Amazing communication. Jhana is always happy to help and only an email away. Every time I have a question or request, he replies within 24hrs and with a very thorough and detailed response. Easy to schedule and overall more than happy to work with him.

Vendor was always very open to feedback and also kept us in the loop at all times. He would send over instructional videos when he had any tips for us.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It's very unique that Jhana runs this all himself. I love working with a small business as we still consider us a small but growing business. We hope to see his business continue to grow because I can tell he genuinely cares for his clients and wants the best for them.

The thing that distinguishes them the most from other vendors is he always takes time to explain what he is doing to us and also keeps us updated on what he's doing for us and also what is going on when there are changes to online advertising laws.

I am very appreciative of his dedication to our business and value his work.

I prefer hopping onto a video call for updates! He tends to work best via back-and-forth email ---I can see how that is the most efficient way of working for him as it can be time consuming to constantly juggle work and video calls.

Personally, I would love to have scheduled monthly video chats to discuss the past months' results, room for improvement and what we want to work on in the next month via a video chat instead of an email.
