We won an award from the Junior Chamber of Commerce in Jakarta. We were happy with the achievement because it spoke to the marketing campaign’s quality. Their creativity exceeded our expectations. The team was familiar with current trends and infographics. They also used parallax scrolling, a new feature for us.

We communicated via phone, email, and virtual meetings. The team visited our office after each milestone to discuss results and future plans. Testing was also on-site.

We reported bugs in emails and; they proactively updated us during each bug fix. Their approach, which distinguished them from our previous partners, kept the project on track.

Communication skills were inconsistent. However, some barriers between team members and high-level managers were understandable. The team resolved this issue by recruiting an account manager after the first two months of engagement.

The primary objectives were to increase engagement across social media platforms, expand our reach to active workers across Indonesia, and ensure our communication messaging was clear, consistent, and resonated with our target audience. Arfadia managed our presence on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and YouTube. The content they focused on included educational posts about our programs and benefits, awareness campaigns targeting active workers, and engagement-driven content designed to make social security topics more approachable for everyday Indonesians.

One of the campaigns that stood out was the integrated social media awareness campaign around our worker social security programs, including JHT (Jaminan Hari Tua) and Dana Pensiun. Arfadia also built a custom social media ticketing and monitoring application connected to our Facebook and Twitter accounts, which allowed us to handle over 26,000 citizen complaints with an average response time of five minutes, well within our contractual SLA of 30 minutes.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results were measurable and significant across all channels. Facebook engagement rate grew from 2% to 29%, representing a 14.5x increase. Our Facebook page likers grew from 76,000 to over 107,000, and Twitter followers grew from 32,100 to 50,400.

On the SEO side, the keyword “Dana Pensiun” moved from Google position 183 to position 2, dramatically improving public discoverability of our pension program information. Arfadia pushed 10 strategic keywords to Google’s first page, which collectively improved the discoverability of our programs across multiple search terms relevant to Indonesian workers.

For complaint handling, Arfadia processed 26,235 citizen tickets across eight complaint categories, including JHT inquiries which made up 37% of total volume. The average response time achieved was five minutes, well under our contractual SLA of 30 minutes.

Overall sentiment across social media channels improved notably as our responsiveness increased, with citizens publicly acknowledging the faster and more helpful responses compared to prior periods. This qualitative shift in public perception was one of the outcomes we valued most from the engagement.

For microsite performance, the campaign microsite jaminankerjaku.com generated consistent monthly traffic throughout the program, with peak performance in December 2016 during the campaign’s final push.

The campaign also earned external recognition, winning the Most Interactive Brand award from SWA MIX Marketing Communications, one of Indonesia’s most respected marketing publications. This validated the overall quality and impact of the digital program Arfadia delivered for us.

Arfadia’s project management was structured and reliable throughout the 11-month engagement. They operated with clear SLA protocols, which gave us confidence that deliverables and response commitments would be met consistently. The complaint handling system alone, processing over 26,000 tickets with a five-minute average response time across the entire engagement, demonstrated their operational discipline.

Content calendars were delivered on schedule, and the team was responsive when we needed adjustments to messaging or campaign direction. The December 2016 campaign peak was executed without issues, which was the most critical period of the program.

Overall, yes, they delivered on time and within the agreed scope. For a government institution like us where accountability and timeliness are non-negotiable, Arfadia met that standard consistently.

What stood out most was their ability to combine technical execution with genuine understanding of public communication. Managing social media for a government institution is fundamentally different from a commercial brand. The messaging has to be accurate, accountable, and accessible to millions of workers from diverse backgrounds. Arfadia understood that from the start.

The custom social media ticketing and monitoring application they built specifically for us was particularly impressive. It wasn’t an off-the-shelf tool; they developed it to connect directly with our Facebook and Twitter APIs, enabling our team to track, categorize, and resolve citizen complaints at a scale and speed we had never achieved before. Their level of custom technical investment for a client showed real commitment.

Beyond the technology, their content team consistently produced material that made complex social security topics, such as JHT claims, Dana Pensiun eligibility, and registration processes, genuinely understandable for everyday workers. That combination of technical capability and communication clarity is what made the collaboration successful and ultimately contributed to winning the Most Interactive Brand recognition from SWA MIX Marketing Communications.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, the execution was strong throughout the engagement. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be around the reporting format in the early months. The initial reports were comprehensive in terms of data but took some time to align with the internal reporting style that our management team preferred for government documentation purposes.

Once we communicated that clearly, Arfadia adjusted quickly, and the subsequent reports were much easier to present internally. It was a minor onboarding friction rather than a fundamental issue, and it didn’t affect the quality of the work or the outcomes delivered.
