How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was already acquainted with the company's CEO previously when I went through a business acceleration course. Having received an excellent experience, I decided to choose The Arbridge for this project as a company.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

As a startup, together with funding, we faced a point of rapid scaling and growth necessity. To focus on further product development & strategy, I needed help & advisory in terms of operations, process & structure building, and tuning. It was very important that the company we hired was not only an expert in the business itself but also perfectly understood the specifics of startup development as well as IT in general. Also, I didn’t want to fully let go of the company's management.

Together with The Arbridge team, we ended up with a set of services, which included operations consulting and personal business advisory for me (C-level mentoring). The operations consulting service included personal interviews for our employees, group sessions for heads of departments, overall description of processes & structures, search for risks & blockers, their elimination, conflict management, and a lot more. C-level mentoring was nothing like a “personal growth course” or anything like that. That was a strong set of sessions aimed at business processes, strategic thinking, delegating and correct supervision building, relations with investors, and long-term planning.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

First of all, I definitely feel me & company received what we were really looking for and what is more important - what we needed. There has been reduced the number of conflicts, lost tasks, critical deadlines, and bulky processes within our team. We do have a clear, working company structure and easy understanding of communication points and responsibility zones.

Personally, I think we have gone through a number of scaling stages way much smoother due to the operations consulting service. While it might seem that personal mentoring should be most beneficial for the one mentored, I am now strongly convinced it’s a huge advantage for the whole company. I gained that always lacking time for strategic planning, idea sessions, networking, and other things that were buried under irrelevant control, unnecessary supervision, not delegated tasks & rushing. We also got a number of timely advice & recommendations that helped us with decisions and made growth easier and indeed more understandable.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

A great impression about cooperation with the team was actually made by very easy-going communication, no arrogance, and a real feeling of partnership. We received the necessary support, guidance, and timely feedback as well as full correspondence to our requests.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team’s expertise & strong understanding of startup development and the problems & tasks each of them is facing at every stage was really impressive. That, however, never turned into a “template approach”, keeping the team highly involved and interested not in “the best” outcome, but in the very suitable and effective one for our particular case. If there was a really urgent case, we could have their support.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There probably is, as always. But we have nothing to mention in this regard.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were searching for a company that really corresponds to our needs, is easy to communicate with and works professionally. So we decided to get a network recommendation and The Arbridge was one of them. The deciding factors in addition to recommendations were great communication and understanding of the request.

We needed a reliable contractor for our webdev project. We received full engagement & support at the stage of analysing our request & its specification. After all details, including desired budget & deadlines were settled, we received several recommendations on contractors. In general we have received more than expected: request additional elaboration & specification qualitative supplier research deal support communication support throughout the whole project additional advisory

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We negotiated & firstly got to know CEO Vladislav Kostyk, who took part in some of the most important processes to get to know each other. We also communicated with the company's CBDO & our personal manager for general workflow.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We totally received a great contractor and as a result the product we were looking for. It totally fulfills necessary functionality, is relevant to our style guidebooks & specifics.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Great. Fast, clear & always relevant. If we had a question or concern, it was always handled, not ignored. Still, we didn’t have any significant issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The company really cared about the result. Although their part of the job was actually done as soon as they got the recommended contractor’s list for us, they kept in touch and supported the project all the way through. That was pretty cool.
