The Good cow company app facilitates the placing of order for high quality milk in Kolkatta region. The app features both ordering of everyday milk and can order milk based on a weekly plan.

With the ability to pay through Net banking/Credit/Debit card option, it is easy for customer to keep track of their payments. Customers can also see their billing report every month to keep track of their consumption.

We found out an organization that had a good team where we could work with long term and cost-effective solution.

The team composed of 1 artictect, and 3 developers. The team was a dynamic team. They did a commendable job.

We met them in India, and know them for almost 2 years, and have met them couple of times in India and once in Hong kong. They are an energetic team and confident team of handling the new technologies.

1. Website development: The design and prototype was clearly defined by the team. The storyboard creation was apt and the project started immediate and completed very fast. The technology was handled and selected very good. Design photos were supplied by the client.

2. IOT project is a part of the whole platform, and integrating with a dashboard is going on. The automation project involves send of the IOT values to the dashboard and give a trigger point, according to the signal that is received. Also the dashboards and visualization are to be done with AR and digital twin.

The company had a development background team for the website, and the mockup parts were given by them. For the IOT project, the architecture level design is being created, and the other parameters are under work. Appville softwares understood our idea, from the beginning, and the team follows up regularly.

The website project came out well, and had a different experience to the customers. The IOT project shall have a very large team to update with analytics and digital twin.

The project was well managed with immediate updates, when asked and it was pretty fast and good. The team provided regular progress reports. Their project management and work style were successful for our needs.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Ethics is one of the pillars, and constant update of the technology is in the DNA. They listen to the customers first and grasp the requirements immediately. They'll be able to adapt to any situation.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Hong kong market would need much more faster updates, than the other markets in the East or the West. And the team is fast-learning.

We have done this POC and happy with it, we are showing to our end customers to go to the next phase. The project shall be a good initiative, when the travelling is difficult and not necessary.

The services that were rendered, were  

1. Integrating the IOT values to the cloud.
2. Getting the PLC variables from the cloud to the hololens.
3. Creating the environment of the Hololens and
4. Connecting the IOT values into the hololens environment.

The PLC pressure sensor values were taken to the cloud, and from the cloud it was shown digitally, on top of the respective physical sensors, on top of the machine, which can be seen via the MR Hololens v1.

This project involves converting the existing SOP (standard operating procedure) which is in a PDF format put on board, to be converted into digital form, with the help of an Augmented reality app. Appville gave us the solution to create markup icons of the face of the machine area, and we were able to hook up the digital content of jpg, mp4 etc, on top of the machine very easily. There were fast.
