This is what a traveler uses to plan and move through their trip. It includes:

• Sign-up and a membership selection, from a one-week plan for short visits up to a full year for repeat visitors, with an add-a-partner option for couples
• A curated, verified guide across restaurants, hotels, excursions, fishing, boating, rentals, retail, sports, beaches, and islands, filtered by the user's location
• Per-venue detail built for the actual decision a traveler is making: today's hours expandable to the full week, reservation instructions specific to that venue, how-to-book links, amenity tags for hotels, and season-by-season timing for excursions
• Live water conditions and bilingual safety cautions on beaches and islands
• Linked partners that turn a single listing into a full itinerary
• Member-only discounts redeemed in person by scanning a QR member pass, with a clean paywall for users who aren't members

Partner Mobile App 
This is what local businesses use to manage their side of the platform. It includes:

• Managing their own business presence and publishing general offers
• Scanning a member's QR pass to validate and redeem a discount on the spot
• Filters for audience segments, like age group, so offers can target the right visitors

Admin 
This is what runs the platform as a whole. It includes:

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The platform's three pieces, the tourist app, the partner app, and the admin system, are being built as one connected product rather than as separate, disconnected tools. That's the foundation the rest of the outcomes will sit on once it ships, and it means nothing was bolted on afterward, the tourist experience, the partner experience, and the admin controls were designed to work together from the start.

What stood out in how this was managed is how much real-world nuance had to get built into what looks like a simple listings app. Every venue type needed different handling, hotels needed amenity tags, excursions needed season-by-season timing, restaurants needed different reservation paths depending on how they actually take bookings. Getting that level of detail right across every category, and across two connected apps for tourists and partners plus an admin system tying it together, takes a team that's actually listening to how the business works on the ground in Baja.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive part is how Baja-specific this actually is instead of feeling like a generic travel app. Live water conditions and bilingual safety cautions on beaches and islands directly answer the real problem: not knowing which beach is safe to swim today. The QR-based membership system is the other standout, it connects the tourist app and the partner app into one real-time loop, so a discount is validated and redeemed at the counter in person.

kosleep is a mobile app that helps parents give their kids a personal, calming bedtime experience, even when they can't be there in person. Parents can create a profile for each child and generate a personalized AI story built around that child's name, age, and interests, then have it narrated in a voice cloned from a parent or loved one. We also built a companion web app so a grandparent or a parent who's traveling can record their voice remotely and have it used in their family's stories. It's a subscription app available on iOS and Android, and the whole idea is to keep that familiar bedtime voice part of a child's routine no matter where that person actually is.

Customer Mobile App 
This is the core experience parents use every night. 
It includes:

• Account creation, sign in, and password recovery, plus guided onboarding 
• Individual child profiles with name, age range, gender, and interests
• An AI story wizard that suggests story ideas, generates a personalized story with matching AI cover art, and lets us regenerate the story, title, or artwork, or write one manually
• Voice cloning that turns a short recording into a narrator voice, with support for multiple voices in one story
• A calming audio player with background sounds, plus short personalized "sweet message" recordings
• A story library, subscription plans with a free trial and full upgrade, downgrade, and restore purchase support across the App Store and Google Play
• Push and in-app notifications, account and support tools, and a dedicated screen for blocked accounts

Voice Contributor Web App

This is what makes the voice cloning work at a family level. A loved one gets an emailed, invite-only link, records their voice through a guided prompt, and submits it from a mobile browser, with no app install required.

Admin Web Portal

This is what lets us actually run the business day to day. It gives us:

• Revenue, AI cost, gross profit, subscriber, and story activity analytics across any date range
• User management with search and filters, and the ability to block or reactivate accounts
• A real per-call breakdown of what we're spending on the story, image, and voice AI providers, so we always know our margins

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app is now fully built and testable across all three pieces: the customer mobile app is in TestFlight for iOS and available as an APK for Android, the Voice Contributor web app is live on staging, and the admin portal is tracking real data. The clearest sign of success for us is that the AI cost tracking actually works end to end. We can see the real per-call spend across the story, image, and voice providers for every story generated, which means we can finally price and manage the app like a real business instead of guessing at our margins. The other clear outcome is that we trusted AppVerticals enough to bring them multiple other web projects while this one was still underway, and that's the clearest vote of confidence we can give.

AppVerticals brought genuine creativity and dedication to the mission behind Kosleep, and their team became one we deeply valued rather than one we simply hired. They delivered a complex three-part product with care and consistency, and we've since brought them multiple additional projects.

The project management side felt steady throughout, which mattered a lot given how many moving pieces this had. We weren't just building one app, we had the mobile app, the Voice Contributor web app, and the admin portal all needing to work together, and the team kept that coordinated without things slipping through the cracks. When we asked for changes, they stayed responsive and adjusted the plan as we learned more. A good example is the AI story wizard, where they built in the ability to regenerate the story, the title, or the cover art if something wasn't quite right, which came directly out of us saying we needed more flexibility there. Overall it felt like a responsive team that kept us in the loop without us needing to chase them for updates.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most was how they handled the parts of this that could have easily gone wrong. Voice cloning is not a simple feature, and asking a family member to record their voice remotely, have it cloned, and used to narrate a child's bedtime story is the kind of thing that needed to feel safe and natural. They got that right. The other thing that impressed us was the admin portal. AppVerticals built us a system that shows exactly what each AI provider costs us per story, so we're not guessing at margins anymore. That's the kind of detail that shows a team is thinking about your business as much as your product. It's a big part of why we've kept bringing them more work.

Plus, the team - I cannot say enough positive things about working with the AV team.  They are friendly, helpful, organized and come to each meeting with a smile and deep purpose. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something AppVerticals could have done differently?

Honestly, it's hard to point to something major. If I had to name one thing, it's that the early scoping phase took a little longer than we expected, mostly because voice cloning for something this personal wasn't something either of us had a proven playbook for, so some of the requirements shifted as we learned what actually worked. That's more a reflection of how new this idea was than anything AppVerticals did wrong, but a bit more upfront structure around expectations in that first phase would have helped us plan around it.

Thanks to AppVerticals’ marketing efforts, I’ve seen more visitors to the site they’ve developed. Additionally, I can see what country those visitors are from based on their IP address, which I really like and consider a success. I’ve seen 4–5 daily visitors from different countries, such as Pakistan, Finland, and Canada. In the last 30 days, around 160 people have visited my website.

The focus of the site is real Estate photography so it is designed to attract real estate agents and enable them to manage and purchase images of their properties.

An important element of the site was for it to integrate with a third party printing company so the agents could design flyers for their properties with images I did for them. The other important element of the site is to enable visitors to view and purchase art and stock images that I offer for sale.

AppVerticals has a large and well-rounded team, from the project manager to the coders. Being able to work with a manager that listens well and understands your needs is essential. Rahim hit it out of the park here. The site works well as designed and I look forward to having the site work as an essential park of my customer care and service.

They handled most important areas well. I could have understood the total servicing and pricing better but in the end they were reasonable and agreeable.

Regarding functionalities, the site allows visitors to use a search bar to search for puppies by color, age, and pedigree generation. We've also worked together on the site's color scheme and integrated some of the backgrounds and images from our old platform.

Currently, we're about to jump into SEO tasks for the website.

AppVerticals LLC has developed two websites for me: my clothing company’s site and my author’s site. AppVerticals LLC has built both sites from scratch using WooCommerce and has given me access to the backend code to see what they’re working on. This also allows me to upload more products myself. 

My company’s site had the product on display, but I had to redesign it because of an issue with an external service provider. AppVerticals LLC is redesigning the site again. As for my author’s site, it showcases my professional information and has a link to my book on Amazon. AppVerticals LLC is also working on updating this site and adding my speaker information since I was recently asked to give conferences at universities and other organizations.

AppVerticals LLC is keen to listen to their customers' requests and bring them to life. They really believe in my vision, and their work is amazing.

I’ve had issues with my clothing company’s production supplier, so I haven’t been able to sell online, and that’s part of the reason why AppVerticals LLC is working on the site again. On the other hand, my author’s site has received positive feedback, it has an easy-to-navigate layout, and my book’s sales have been steady.

AppVerticals LLC has delivered my company’s site really quickly. We communicate through emails and phone calls. 

I had an issue with a previous service provider because I paid them to develop my company’s site, but they didn’t deliver it. I explained this situation to AppVerticals LLC when we started working together, and they were very understanding with me. AppVerticals LLC has adapted to my budget and really listened to my concerns. They helped me out at the beginning of our engagement, and sometimes I’ve paid them something extra because I really like their work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with AppVerticals LLC's ability to understand my vision and translate it into a website. AppVerticals LLC is an expert in web development because they have over 10 years of experience. 

AppVerticals LLC has brought my idea to life with my company’s site, and that’s why I went back and asked them to create my author’s site.

I’d suggest AppVerticals LLC include marketing management in their services. One of the project managers I’ve worked with gave me suggestions about social media marketing, and I appreciated it since I’m managing the marketing myself. Although I don’t have a marketing budget now, I’d love for AppVerticals LLC to include it in their fees.

AppVerticals LLC developed and designed my website from scratch using WordPress. Initially, I showed them my vision, and they built the site around that. 

My main focus for the site was usability because most websites have too much content. I wanted a user-friendly site where people could buy my product easily. AppVerticals LLC agreed with me and developed the site with this in mind. They also continue to offer web hosting and maintenance services.

I worked with only one teammate from AppVerticals LLC. I know there were more team members involved in my project, but this teammate was my main point of contact.

I found AppVerticals LLC through an online search. Before finding them, I checked other web designers, but they were expensive and out of my budget. I even started working with another designer, but they didn’t understand my vision, and I decided to keep looking. Finding AppVerticals LLC took me over six months.

What is the status of this engagement?

The website development lasted from January–November 2022. Currently, AppVerticals LLC is developing a mobile application for us in a separate engagement.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

AppVerticals LLC was really meticulous. They developed an awesome site with easy functionality. The site was number one on Google search for a while, and this was even before we launched it, when it was still under construction. 

At one point, the site's launch was delayed because I had some operational problems with my coffee supplier. AppVerticals LLC was great at giving me follow-up and suggested ideas to resolve this issue and launch the site.

How did AppVerticals LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

AppVerticals LLC met deadlines. We kept close communication through email, but mostly through phone calls since I like to talk with the team I'm working with.

Another thing I loved about AppVerticals LLC was that they took care of my money and didn't pressure me to spend on things outside of my budget. AppVerticals LLC adapted to my budget, and they were really interested in our growth as a company because as I grow financially, my site will grow as well. 

Whenever I asked for a change on the site, AppVerticals LLC delivered it quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was most impressed with AppVerticals LLC's passion. They didn't treat me as just another client; their treatment was personal. 

I felt a family atmosphere working with AppVerticals LLC. During this project, I went through some personal issues, and they were very considerate of me. They called me on a personal level to ask about my situation and never talked about work during that time. I had never experienced this with other companies, and that's what set AppVerticals LLC apart. For me, this was true loyalty. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I had an amazing experience working with AppVerticals LLC. However, the only thing I'd improve is that sometimes, it was hard to get a hold of them through phone calls because they were constantly in meetings.

I recommend you have a business plan before working with AppVerticals LLC. This way, they'll have a better understanding of your goals as a company, and they'll be able to advise you about the marketing strategies you need to get there.
