A good result for us was that the team organized their work in the way we expected and also provided a useful insight on how to make everything happen smoothly and less resource-consuming.

The Platform was up and running in around 3 months, with access for both the admin and users through a special domain. Even despite the challenges in Ukraine the team was still able to work around and deliver to their best ability the project (it is still ongoing)

The team was able to set a slack channel with all the developers who are working on the project, and this ease the communication within both our team and their team The timeline was initially set but with the challenges on the ground it had to be extended but appvales team were able to allocate the right team (based on availability) to keep the project running

The way they've handled the challenge on the ground is impressive in the workflow. They also quickly get organised to keep the work going

Our goal was to outsource our R&D project to a team that could implement our prototype into a complete product in the app store with little intervention from our management team. They provided a fully managed solution that was ideal for us.

We chose them because they had specific experience with the technology stack we preferred. They also communicated very well and provided a high-level work estimate that seemed reasonable.

So far, the team has been efficient. Their work ethic, communication and professionalism has been world class.

The project management style is concise and not overly intrusive. They are a self-contained team that resolves most issues independently with little interference from us. We mainly use slack to stay connected.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have been unwavering in their productivity even during the ongoing invasion of their country. It has been quite inspiring.

There really isn't anything that can be improved that is within their control.

We compared APPVALES with a lot of similar agencies and the deciding factor was the team and it's small boutique work atmosphere.

We had a few discovery meetings to identify if we have the right fit, as we already had an existing application to work on. After that we quickly decided on the right development pathway and team size. We are using React Native and firebase.

A project manager, QA-tester, a lead developer and two full-time developers were assigned to the project. I mainly communicated with the project manager and lead developers through bi-weekly calls and regular slack messages.

We have not launched out apps yet and are releases the next version in 4 weeks.

The project manager and lead developer are very transparent with the challenges and results. And send updates even during the weekend. The timeline was affected by the Russian-Ukraine war but the team was able to quickly regain morale and continue the working pace.

The project management and app development skills are very good. They quickly learned to navigate the old source code and update us every step of the way.

The App is still on beta version and the testing is ongoing. Good traction so far defined by the initial users. The APPVALES team iterated based on the collected and assessed inputs from feedback.

The communication with the team went very well using Slack and video calls for weekly updates. The team members were responsive and on top of every topic. Weekly status report included the completed tasks, pending tasks and next week plan.

What we found impressive is the quality of coordination between the team members and what was unique is their determination to overcome the obstacles we faced during the development.

For a technical redesign of our IT infrastructure, we were looking for a frontend team that could help us create a whole new front end with a new UI and UX in a really complex project.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After having tried several frontend developers who could not get the job done we finally met the team from AppVales and right from the start we already knew that we found the team we were looking for. After a quick initial code test, they proved that they not only had the right programming skills but they also have the ability to think a few steps ahead and make sure that the appl is scalable for the future!

We started with a thorough briefing of the scope of the project, the existing code base, and the details of the new project. After that, we enrolled the AppVales team in our Jira management tool and assigned the tasks to them to complete. During this process, we had daily meetups and continuous code reviews and testing before they finally pushed their code to our Master. During this time they communicated clearly and frequently.

After a few intense months of hard work, we finally had a great working product ready to show and ship to customers!

From the start, we used Jira as our management tool to keep track of progress and assigning tasks to the individual developer. We communicated on a daily basis via Skype and at least a few times per week via online conference. They were always very quick to respond!

The talented guys at Appvales helped us to complete a very complex project. After having dealt with several frontend developers that couldn't get the job done we were really happy to meet them. They did an excellent job and gave us a very satisfying result. We hope to continue our partnership with Pinewatch for many years to come!

We interviewed several different companies, actually hired one previously and it went terrible wrong. Appvales interview answered all our questions and put our minds at ease that we would not experience the same issues as we did with our previous company. And we were overly happy with our selection.

We had a few kick off meetings to explain the project and walk through the various parts and screens. Appvales' team were very responsive and understood what we were trying to build right away. A Project Manager and Developer were assigned to the project, as well as the owner Max has been helping to achieve the goals of the project.

Within the first few weeks of development I had functioning builds of the platform for me to play around with. Overall quality is excellent and we are excited to see the final product.

A Slack channel was created where all communication is happening. As stated previously, we are operating in 1 week sprints where the tasks for the week are determined before the week starts, and end of week I am updated with the progress and new app builds. Appvales has hit all the sprint commitments on time.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within 3 months of work with AppVales, we were able to make solid progress on app. In fact, we are almost done with the MVP, and part of that is because of AppVales.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It worked flawlessly. Of course it took us a week or two to be in sync, but right after that, we worked as if we knew each others for long time. Just amazing how far good communication skills can take you.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their management, in two ways. First one is how great of a help they were, if we needed something, they would provide it right away with no delays. Second one, is how helpful they were with the developers, as soon as our developers ran into trouble, they would be always there to help them.

To be honest, everything is so great about them, that my only complaint is that sometimes during our zoom meetings, their mics are little to hard to hear. They are so amazing, that I can't find anything else.

The project automates some of our internal process to get a better performance and start receiving data that we can analyze then. The system is divided inot a shifting, tracking, CRM and task management modules. We created a simple web admin to manage the app and create a new tasks and users.
