Developing, manufacturing and selling electricity, gas and water metering products, developing and operating meter data acquisition and processing software.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Application Frameworks to accomplish?

• Upgrading and migrating different prepayment systems into one centralized system
• Interfacing to SAP for automatic vending process using 3rd party vending network
• Regionalizing the central system, customizing and configuring the system to enable selective access for different external companies

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Merging 5 old STS prepayment systems serving STS keypad electricty meters and both chipcard and NFC card gas meters.

Integration with the utility ERP system to provide the electricity and gas vending functions via the ERP system to 3rd party vending partners.

High level of customization to provide separation of regions and roles among 20+ companies using the system. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Deployment of new test system first, demonstarting vending to customers from each reagions.

Successful data exchange test with the mainframe system. 

Successful functional  and security test. 

Deployment of productive system and migration of user data.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management was adequate and competent. Escalating the to additional people as it was needed and in an extent as needed.

AFW showed right flexibility adopting and following the customer changes. The questions risen were properly analyzed and answered in due time.

Documentation was also good, detailed and available in due time.

Certainly there could be areas of improvment everywhere, but I do cannot recall particular are to address.
