As a Munich-based media agency, we approached AppLeute at the end of 2025 with a project previously developed by two foreign app agencies. At that time, the entire project, including its code, was in an unstable and buggy state, making distribution impossible. To repair, stabilize, and ultimately launch our app, Hungry Heart, we commissioned AppLeute to provide this service. From the very first moment, we felt we were in excellent hands.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have found Marc and his team to be extremely constructive, reliable, meticulous, precise, supportive, and exceptionally dedicated. Even though we delivered an existing, fragile codebase, the project was understood, internalized, further developed, and ultimately stabilized within the agreed timeframe, allowing us to launch and release Hungry Heart (www.hungryheart.app) in spring 2026.

AppLeute's project management, all processes, and structure function smoothly and with the utmost professionalism. Working and communicating with AppLeute is enjoyable, fast, trustworthy, straightforward, reliable, and at times even friendly. Our project now boasts robust, stable technical quality, and the collaboration with AppLeute has had a noticeable business impact for us. Even though we had additional features implemented in our app during the collaboration, these were implemented quickly and always within budget.

The project scope encompassed the complete development of a web and mobile app for social media management.

All milestones were clearly defined, regularly reviewed, and largely delivered on time. The team responded quickly to questions or new requirements, presented solutions, and flexibly implemented necessary adjustments.

The proactive communication was particularly positive, as it kept us informed about the current status at all times and allowed us to react to potential challenges early on.

What impresses us most is their technical expertise, high reliability, and genuine solution-oriented thinking.
The company doesn't just think in terms of features, but in terms of functioning processes – and implemented even complex requirements in a clear, pragmatic, and rapid manner.
The hands-on mentality with which challenges were tackled directly and translated into practical solutions was particularly noteworthy.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AppLeute could have done differently?

One area for improvement lies in more accurate time estimates for complex functional requirements.
A more precise estimate of the time required would have been particularly helpful for interface integrations or new features.

Apart from that, the cooperation was very positive – some minor coordination could have been done a little faster, but in the end it was always implemented in a solution-oriented manner.
