Please describe your company and your position there.

Aara Health is India's first virtual healthcare platform for women. Our company onboard experienced healthcare professionals and we curate medically verified content for the health issues faced by women on our platform. I am the Founder and CEO of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Appernity, and what were your goals?

Our goal with Aara Health is to bring back the soul in healthcare and it is the first virtual healthcare platform, so goal was clear to offer best in class service, information to the all women out there. Appernity Technologies was hired for the platform development where they developed the front-end and backend of the marketplace. They designed an amazing UI/UX for our platform and delivered the project as per our expectations.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Deciding factor was their domain expertise in building marketplaces, team's portfolio and ability to answer every technical question we had. This made us to choose them and we are fully satisfied with their service.

We initially shared our project scope and simple layout in the form of wireframes with these people and they shared their feedback then. As the tech experts and the women staff in their company, we appreciated the feedback because it was like getting the right advice from the real users. After finalizing everything, they started off with UI/UX development and shared with us for the feedback. Everything was on time and they finally delivered the project. We've got our project done in laravel framework of Php.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There was one project manager along with 3 other team members. So they were 4 in total. One project manager, one UI designer, and two backend developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We literally saw a massive jump in our sales after having this product delivered from this company. Technology is the best alternative and option for mass distribution and it proved when we saw the 30% MOM growth in our business.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We have used mainly skype for communication and the project manager was very prompt in responding and answering all of our doubts. We've also used Jira for project management.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The unique and impressive point about this company is the team they come up with for the project. If the team is skilled, does the proper research for any project, considers our project as their's, this is what all someone can expect. We also met the visionaries and founders of the company and they are outstanding leaders.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yet to find any. They are handling our entire tech and also developing the CRM and Employee Management System for us. We will update you if we found something to improve.

Quicqo is the b2b2c service marketplace of India that enables businesses and individuals to discover and hire services at best price near their location. I am working as the Business Development Manager at Quicqo.

For what projects/services did your company hire Appernity, and what were your goals?

Our goal was to develop the web and mobile app for Quicqo to deliver best customer experience for our b2b and b2c clients. We hired Appernity for the web app development and mobile app development.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We did the reference checks, visited their office and did few meetings before finalising them as our tech partner. In the initial few meetings they come up with detailed reports, presentation and with competitor analyses and that made us to take the decision.

They have designed and developed the application using PHP and framework like CodeIgniter. After the initial discussions and meetings they come up with mockups and wireframes for the application and after the feedback session, went ahead with front end development and then backend development.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There was a team of 5 in which one project manager, two backend developers, and two front end developers who handled the UI/UX development for the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was delivered on time and most importantly with minimum bugs. Support was outstanding after the delivery; they worked on feedbacks instantly. They proposed many solutions by keeping the market and competition in mind. It saved us a lot of time and money.

We communicated via skype, zoom and project was managed via Basecamp, Jira. They met all the deadlines for every module and communication was flawless.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were in direct touch with the team and there was no communication gap and thus project delivered on time and with best quality. I liked their entire process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I didn't find anything to improve but if there will be any, i ll mention in future for sure as I am working on many other products with them.
