Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner and lead lash technician at LEX Lash Bar. LEX Lash Bar is a local beauty studio and specializes in the application of eyelash extensions.

For what projects/services did your company hire Also Blue?

LEX Lash Bar offers appointment based lash extension services so it was our goal to to create a beautiful website where customers can book appointments online, access information and pricing on all services and view as a portfolio.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After reviewing several designers & developers on Upwork, we decided to move forward with Also Blue because of their impressive attention to detail, extensive industry experience and ease of communication.

After reviewing our goals and objectives, we were able to find the perfect CMS and theme which was flawlessly customized to match our brand guidelines. Also Blue was then able to seamlessly integrate the online booking system with the website to create an intuitive experience for visitors and increase the overall booking rate. Throughout the project, we were always provided with amazing insight and in-depth industry knowledge to help us navigate through the decision making process when generating new ideas or making website improvements.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I was thrilled to only have to deal with 1 person, being the Project Manager, which made communication very easy and allowed our project to be carried out in an effective and timely manner. Any communication between the designer and developer were handled by our Project Manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Site traffic and conversion rates have been increased over 50%. Customers enjoy the improved design and are always quick to compliment the website and booking system ease of use.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our Project Manager was fantastic to communicate with - very transparent and always provided detailed and insightful responses to any questions or concerns along the way. Deliverables were always on time and if there were any changes or delays to the project timeline, it was discussed prior so everyone had a full understanding of why and what needed to be done with no surprises.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was very impressed with the range of knowledge they had about UI/UX design and development, and how attentive our Project Manager was to ensure all of our requirements were met. Furthermore, they were able to provide us with so much guidance and additional solutions to consider when taking that next step to improve and streamline our online strategy.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Also Blue went above and beyond throughout every aspect of the project. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We were extremely happy with the finished product, which was completed within budget and on time, and will absolutely continue working with them in the future.
