This was a full-stack project. Work including design and build of voice app using open-source tools including Rasa and Amybox. Back-end was built to run on AWS. The key deliverables included providing a reliable NLU/NLP engine to make the app experience easy to use for drivers while driving and providing custom dashboard and programming options for fleet managers and fleet admins.

They are quick studies and very capable of finding solutions to problems when you are developing things that are very new such as voice applications.

They are not native English speakers which sometimes makes it difficult to communicate in person and write accurate copy for UI and documentation.

I’m an analyst at a reinsurance company.

What challenges were you trying to address with JRTEC S.A.S ?

We hired them to develop a mobile app for the company’s employees to improve internal communications.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The app was developed for Android and iOS, and they were in charge of the design as well.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked directly with Jonathan (CEO), who is our project manager, but there have been about 12 people on the team.

How did you come to work with  JRTEC S.A.S ?

We have a committee that evaluates different service providers. We had a selection process, and they chose JRTEC as the best one for the project. We had a good precedent since we had experience working with them before.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent around $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in April 2020. The first phase finished two weeks ago, although we will continue working with them in the following phases.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We really liked the final product, and the employees are very happy with the app. JRTEC’s services are very good.

How did JRTEC S.A.S   perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s the first time that I’ve collaborated on a project like this, and they’ve been very good at guiding me. We have an established schedule, and they’re good at meeting the expected deadlines. We use WhatsApp, email, and Webex to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're available and willing to find solutions anytime.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We weren't able to put the app in the iOS store, but they're working to solve that. Besides that issue, everything has worked out very well.
