I am the owner of a consulting agency that specializes in management development, Leadership coaching and the support of change processes.

I want to give potential customers a precise insight into my service portfolio and how I work.

We know each other personally and I trusted him.

At our first meeting, we discussed the concept for the website. Aleksey gave me valuable tips for the graphic design and structure of the content.

Based on this, I wrote the new content and commissioned a photographer. Aleksey made first suggestions for the design of the website, we chose a variant and step by step we developed a great website.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

We’re a nonprofit organization that does research and education in unified science, community, and consciousness-related studies. I’m the director of the academy, which is one of our main projects and programs. We have about 6,000 people from around the world who participate in our online learning community, traveling to sacred sites around the world and attending community retreats.

What challenge were you trying to address with Aleksey Vays?

We were looking for someone who could do the web development for our online academy.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Alexsey Vays helped us build out entire online academy. He participated in delivering courseware, marketing materials, and onboarding for our clients. We had LearnDash, which we had to integrate into our content delivery system, along with our comprehensive CRM. He also helped us integrate plug-ins, affiliate programs, you name it. We had a complex system, being an online academy, with some pretty deep offerings.

How did you come to work with Aleksey Vays?

He was attracted to the work that our head researcher was conducting, so he flew from Europe, to stay in Hawaii as a volunteer. We liked him so much that we gave him a full-time position.

How much have you invested with them?

On average, his billing was between $4,000–$6,000 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in June 2013, and our engagement finished in March 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Aleksey could turn around any page to look exactly like the design, while also making it functional and user-friendly. I never had any issues with the work that Aleksey did, we were never going back and forth trying to fix things that weren’t set up the first time.

How did Aleksey Vays perform from a project management standpoint?

Aleksey was a great project manager. He managed the web development and what we were doing really worked closely with our designer and our in-house tech person and made sure that our stack was working well. He managed the work using Trello and a couple of other project management tools.

What did you find most impressive about them?

He’s actually a Tango dancer, and I think that’s why he’s able to make the web pages so perfect. He applied a graceful precision about everything he delivered and everything always lined up really nicely. He’s a great team player, very knowledgeable, and he’s also a good copywriter. Anyone who hires Aleksey is getting a dream.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, he came through every time.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to give him a lead position. I would call him to do project management or to take the lead in a situation because he is pretty thorough. Because of him we always spent a lot less time fixing mistakes and more time providing good service.
