What challenge were you trying to address with akeo?

We needed to reimagine our website and tell a powerful, differentiated story.

What was the scope of their involvement?

akeo built an entirely new website for us on Webflow. The team was also responsible for stunning character development, asset creation, and AI video production.

What is the team composition?

We worked with over 10 teammates from akeo.

How did you come to work with akeo?

We had worked with them previously on another project. We chose them because they were a great culture fit, their company values aligned with ours, and we already knew their high standards and ability to execute.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them since October 2025. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

akeo delivered weekly status updates and asset deliverables. We also received qualitative feedback from employees, partners, customers, and investors, who said the website was great and finally explained what our company does. Overall, akeo did a great job telling our turnaround story.

How did akeo perform from a project management standpoint?

akeo delivered on time. We communicated via virtual meetings and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with akeo's visuals and their ability to "get us."

There was nothing we can come up with at this point.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Reload is a sporting goods branding - D2C physical goods - pickleball paddles with replaceable surfaces. So in additonal to the usual collaterals (Branding, Looks, Colors, Logos, Business card, Website) we also had some product specific ones - the actual surface of the paddle itself aswell as the replaceable sheet - and of course multiple sets of packaging and some assorted soft goods.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This kind of work wasn't designed to be directly measured with some kind of metric.

In general the branding work aswell as the product design stands out in a market very crowded with generic lookalikes. 

So it's been very well received.

Overall - I was and remain very impressed. Other than wanting them to read my mind when I don't articulate feedback properly - everything is good ;)
