The number of partners and paying customers also increased and we are currently at the brink of securing a round A investment just a year and a half after creating our brand.

The work started with designing three new Smart City products in areas of micromobility, waste management and air quality. The design was challenging as several requirements had to be fulfilled. The most important requirement was that all products should blend into micro-location in any city around the world where they could be installed. 

The products also had to be designed in such a way that mass production was possible. The most challenging requirement was that products included a significant number of sensors and electronic components that had to be incorporated inside. In the second stage of the project, we worked on the design and development of a Smart City platform where the key requirement was to make it easy to use for small clients with limited IT resources and knowledge. 

At the same time, it had to be robust enough for big clients with a larger number of products that are looking for seamless data visualisation and export. In the final stage, the work included brand strategy brainstorming, creating a new visual identity and promotional materials.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All hardware products that Afekt designed are now on the market and generate revenue (in M EUR). Smart City platform is generating annual recurring revenue.

Afekt always delivered their part of the job on time. Even when we had short deadlines or deadlines had to be moved to an earlier date, they have managed to deliver high-quality output. During every project, we always had a clear image of the steps that needed to be done and the responsibilities of each involved side.
