We have been working with Adwise for the past couple of years, and we're continually impressed by their dedication and expertise. Adwise has done a fantastic job keeping our website safe, secure, and in excellent working order. As with many websites, we've faced hacking attempts, but Taras and the Adwise team have always acted swiftly and effectively to protect our information and data—often making necessary improvements behind the scenes to ensure our site continues running smoothly. I honestly believe that our site would not be operating today if we hadn’t chosen a team with such a strong background in cybersecurity.

From the very start, Adwise has been a true partner. Joanne can speak to the original design and the many evolutions the site has undergone—from the initial build, to adapting for pandemic needs, and now in a new, post-pandemic era. Thanks to Adwise, we’ve experienced nearly a 10x increase in site traffic.

We are proud to say that our site is “built and maintained by Adwise.” The team continues to make regular improvements—even working weekends when needed. During a large-scale calendar/plugin upgrade and email hosting change, Adwise responded quickly and professionally, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless transition.

In what ways can they improve?

Only one improvement would be to initiate instructions for admin updates by the owners. However, Adwise always responds quickly to ever request.

 What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?

To anyone considering a website development partner, I can’t stress enough how important it is to choose a team with a strong background in cybersecurity. I'm the Digital Marketing Project Manager at my company, Bivar. Bivar is an Electronics Manufacturer with a specialized engineering approach to better accelerate customer project development and meet the ever-present challenges of technology. My role in this project has been main communication contact with Adwise as they worked with our guidelines and requests to complete this project.

For what projects/services did your company hire Adwise, and what were your goals?

Our website needed a refresh to better serve our customers and Adwise has been with us throughout the whole project. We actually launched the previous website through Adwise's service but made bigger changes this year and Adwise has accomplished everything we asked for.

Our goal was to set up Megamenu and learning pages for our each subcategories while integrating our new parametric search engine that will allow our customers to find the parts they're looking for.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We worked previously with Adwise and we were very happy with the service they provided in the past. While it was my previous manager that selected Adwise, I worked with them at previous project and also wanted to keep them onboard with this project as well.

Our initial plan was just the website update with our dropdown megamenu, learning pages for each subcategory, applying parametric search engine from different vendor for each series, and minor page updates here and there. The more we dug into the projects, the more deliverables we asked of Adwise as we learned various scopes we didn't think of before. Adwise has been nothing but patient and complete all the objectives.

We had one full time developer that worked with us throughout the project. While we did communicate with Taras, Co-Founder of Adwise, to give the initial scope, I believe the developer worked fully with us on this project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the website, we received positive feedbacks from internal employees, distributors, and reps saying how easy it is to navigate the website now.

Whenever there is a project that needs to be addressed, I would submit a ticket through their portal and we would continue emailing in a chain until the project is completed. Most of the time it was me asking them to do something and they'll come back with completion.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have some experience using Wordpress but not so experienced I can figure everything out. Whenever I had any issues or requests, the team figured out solutions as if it was nothing. Really gave me a perspective on how talented this team was.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Because their first language wasn't English, there were cases where I had difficulty getting our developer to understand what my needs were. However, it was very few times this happened and we were able to communicate well throughout most of the project.

My organization is an online platform for arts courses, and I run the content side of things, everything in relation to the classes themselves and the instructors that run them.

We needed someone to develop our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Adwise created a WordPress website where they integrated Tutor LMS and WooCommerce Bookings to allow the creation of an entire class and profile for the tutors. Then, I would approve the profile or class on the other end, so they could start selling them.

What is the team composition?

I had a main point of contact which was a liaison for me and Dimitri (Frontend Developer).

How did you come to work with Adwise?

We put out a post looking for people to work on the project and Adwise’s team sent in a proposal with fantastic estimates. Their proposal made the most sense since we could get the project off the ground with the least amount of money, and we also had the potential to upgrade as we went along.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested $11,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2020, and the project concluded in November 2020. In case we need any change, we go back to them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were pretty satisfied with the work that Adwise provided. The project was always going to be proof of concept (POC) so we could test the business model. Web development always has more problems than you think.

The website still has bugs and problems, but that was always part of the plan to get a rough product out to prove it before really perfecting it.

How did Adwise perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated through calls and emails, and Adwise completed their deadlines on time. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Adwise’s team was able to solve any problem that we had fairly quickly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes we had misunderstandings with communication. Not because they weren’t responding, but rather because English is not their first language, so, sometimes, the emails they sent felt a bit rough around the edges. From there, I understood that it was better to communicate through calls.

Any advice for potential customers?

Be clear with your needs and make sure you're both on the same page. We made the project up as we went along, but I think doing more work right from the start would have made it a bit quicker and seamless. We were new at working with this kind of project as well, so that part was more on us than on their side.
