I’m the owner of a roofing and restoration company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Adopt the Web?

We wanted to increase our online presence through geotargeting.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, Adopt the Web reviewed the infrastructure of our website, evaluated our content, and redesigned the website’s appearance and UI. Then, they applied that redesign to our citations and listings to align them with our branding and link everything to the appropriate website pages.

As a result of these efforts, Adopt the Web basically provided us with a brand new website created from what we previously had. They’ve also updated hundreds of citations and listings, and they’ve tracked those on a monthly basis to see how we’ve evolved.

I’m very good at SEO myself; nonetheless, Adopt the Web has collaborated with me on that aspect as well. They’ve offered their insights regarding our blog and guided us in the right direction. Still, they’re not very much involved in those efforts because we manage that side of our business internally; we already know our business competitors, keywords, and target audience.

Currently, we collaborate with Adopt the Web in a variety of ways. They help us run campaigns, add new pages to our site, create new listings on Google My Business, and update the citations in our different locations.

The technology stack that they’ve used for this project includes WordPress as the website’s infrastructure and Semrush for the SEO efforts. Our site also has a review central and other third-party integrations.

We’ve worked with four people from Adopt the Web. Jarod (Project Manager & Webmaster) is our main point of contact, and Shane (Full-Stack Developer & Software Engineer) has done all the development work. Additionally, we’ve worked with a graphic designer and a content reviewer who ensured that the website’s metadata was correct.

We found them on a Google search.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $25,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in Novembermber 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Before redesigning our website, we made around $700,000 per year. Last year, we hit the $1.5 million mark, and this year we’re on track to making $4.5 million, all from online business.

Adopt the Web was able to break down our former website to its core, dig out the good parts of it, and bring it back to life really fast, helping us establish our online presence. They know what they’re doing, and to this day, they continue doing a good job.

How did Adopt the Web perform from a project management standpoint?

Adopt the Web doesn't overprice their services; they’re fair. A great aspect of theirs is that they don’t start charging before we see results, which is great. We use Monday.com to manage the project, where we can make requests and see an outline of the project's progress. Additionally, we communicate via phone calls and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Adopt the Web has true grit, which is very important. They work hard, even during the night, whenever needed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No.

Hire them and be ready to make more money.

Adopt the Web is working closely with our team in redesigning our websites. They are also giving us formatting strategies to improve our sites’ SEO. Additionally, they’ve helped us finalize the payment system in one of our e-commerce sites.

I work with two co-owners, but three resources are working in the background.

I followed one of their co-owners from his former company to this company. We had initial conversations, and we liked what we heard, so we hired them.

The person we followed in Adopt the Web has been a known talent, and he has formed a great team with his new partner. Their communication skills are much better than the other companies we’ve worked with.

There is no pressure or up-selling. They cater their plan to your needs, give advice and follow your budget.
