Admiral Studios

BACKGROUND

I am the Founder of OneX Systems

We help platforms, B2B game providers and fintech teams keep production stable when traffic spikes, without hiring a full-time DevOps engineer.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

• We engaged Admiral Studios to provide development support for a confidential client project. Our team was responsible for DevOps and infrastructure, while Admiral handled the development side. We needed a reliable technical partner who could work closely with us, build the required functionality, and prepare the application for deployment.

Admiral Studios provided web development services and worked on the application’s backend using Python, developing the functionality required for the project and supporting its integration with the infrastructure managed by our team.

Throughout the engagement, we collaborated on technical requirements, deployment preparation, testing, and resolving issues as they came up. Admiral delivered the agreed development work and supported our team during deployment and handover.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

The main outcome was the delivery and deployment of the agreed functionality. The application was successfully integrated with the infrastructure managed by our team, and we were able to complete the project within the agreed timeline.

The collaboration also helped us move forward without expanding our in-house development team.

Admiral Studios managed the project well and delivered their work on time. Communication was straightforward: we had regular updates, discussed technical questions as they arose, and always knew who to contact when something needed attention.

They were responsive to feedback and flexible when requirements needed clarification. Since our teams were working on different parts of the same project, we appreciated how proactively they coordinated with us around deployment and infrastructure requirements.

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What impressed us most was how well Admiral’s developers collaborated with our DevOps team. They didn’t just focus on writing code — they considered how the application would be deployed and maintained, and they were open to discussing technical decisions with us.

They felt like an extension of our team, which made it easy to work together and solve problems without unnecessary back-and-forth.

Overall, we were happy with the collaboration and the quality of the work. The team was open to feedback and provided the information we needed.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Admiral Studios to accomplish?

• We had a client project that required both a new website and ongoing promotion. Our team was responsible for the SEO and promotion side, but we needed a development partner who could fully own the website part of the project. We brought Admiral Studios in as a subcontractor so we could split the scope between two specialized teams instead of trying to cover development ourselves.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Admiral Studios took responsibility for the website delivery, while our team worked in parallel on the promotion strategy. Their web development services included building the website, implementing the required pages and functionality, adapting it for different devices, testing, fixing issues, and preparing everything for launch. We coordinated on areas where development affected SEO, but otherwise each team had a clearly defined part of the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest result was that we were able to deliver both parts of the project without stretching our own team into development work. The client received a completed website, while we could stay focused on promotion and start working with the finished site as planned. For us, it proved that we can outsource web development on similar projects without losing control over the overall client experience.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The cooperation was quite straightforward because the responsibilities were clear from the beginning. We had regular communication around milestones, technical questions, and anything that could affect our part of the project. Admiral responded quickly when we needed something from the development side and was comfortable coordinating directly with another agency rather than expecting us to manage every detail.

What was your primary form of communication with Admiral Studios?

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What we appreciated most was their ability to work as one part of a larger delivery team. Not every web development agency is comfortable joining a project where another company already owns a significant part of the client relationship. Admiral respected the split of responsibilities and focused on their scope without creating unnecessary overlap. That is important for us when choosing a website development company for joint client projects.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Admiral Studios could have done differently?

Cooperation worked well and we would be comfortable involving them in another joint project.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Admiral Studios to accomplish?

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Admiral Studios worked directly with our existing CMS and helped us improve both the structure and day-to-day usability of the website. The scope included updating existing pages, creating new sections, fixing layout and responsive issues, improving CMS configuration, and implementing several custom elements where the standard setup wasn't enough. Part of the work could be described as website redesign services, since several existing pages and components were refreshed rather than simply maintained. They also handled some custom website development for functionality and sections that required a more tailored solution.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main improvement was that our website became much easier for our internal team to manage. We can now update content and make routine changes through the CMS with less dependency on developers. We also resolved a number of technical and layout issues and improved several key pages without having to invest in a complete website rebuild.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Our requests varied quite a lot — sometimes it was a planned website update, and sometimes it was a smaller issue that needed to be fixed quickly. Admiral Studios handled that workflow well. They were responsive, realistic about timelines, and good at explaining when a request was simple versus when it required more development work. Overall, the collaboration was easy to manage from our side.

What was your primary form of communication with Admiral Studios?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We liked that they didn't approach the project with a “replace everything” mindset. They first understood our current setup and then focused on improving what actually needed attention. That flexibility is something we value in a web development agency. They felt more like a long-term web development company we could bring different website tasks to rather than a team focused only on one large delivery.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Admiral Studios could have done differently?

For some of the more complex CMS updates, more detailed documentation after implementation would have been useful for our internal team. It wasn't a major issue, though, and whenever we needed clarification, the team was available to explain how the updated parts worked.

The new website improved the buying experience and made our online store much easier to manage. The SEO setup helped us build a stronger foundation for organic traffic.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They did not just follow the initial brief. They looked deeper into our business model and suggested improvements that we had not considered before. The custom CRM was a great example of that — it was not part of the original request, but it became a key tool for our growth. Project management was clear and professional.
