I’m an executive at a publishing house. We create books and e-books for children and teenagers.

What challenge were you trying to address with ADASOFT?

We wanted to develop mobile apps to connect children and students.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We first hired ADASOFT to consult technologies; we received coaching from them, and they developed the app from there. We gave them basic mockups of what we wanted, but ADASOFT did everything from scratch. The platforms have social media functionalities similar to Twitter and e-commerce and allow students to create courses on any topic and view the ones others made.

Currently, we're finishing details because we're about to launch the platforms in the following weeks.

What is the team composition?

We have contact with 5–6 people from ADASOFT, including a designer, four developers, and a project manager.

How did you come to work with ADASOFT?

We received more economically-attractive proposals, but ADASOFT seemed the most reliable. We thought that cheaper options could turn out to be more expensive in the end. They were honest, and they got involved from the beginning — that’s what convinced us to partner with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $120,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in January 2021, and it's ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We made different tests over a month and a half, and ADASOFT fixed every issue we identified — anything can happen when people start using the platform. Still, we have a guarantee in our contract, which includes support for six months after launch.

Overall, we found them to be excellent, and they've delivered as expected and more — they also created and added modules that we didn’t know needed to be on the platform. Additionally, their team has a perfect focus on security and a lot of knowledge that we didn’t. We're delighted with them.

How did ADASOFT perform from a project management standpoint?

We like their organized project management. ADASOFT had us create documentation before they started on the design. Those documents contained all the platform specifications, which we reviewed and agreed on together — we knew what we were going to receive and what the job was. Everything has been clear within this process, and we've had no misunderstandings.

In terms of tools, we discuss small details on WhatsApp and have video calls for big updates and demos.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like ADASOFT’s professionalism, and we can see from their proposal that they take the time to analyze and understand what we want. They made a list of general requirements, explained why they were proposing the technologies, and told us what we should and shouldn’t include.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing was the price, but ADASOFT delivered what they promised in the end — we understand that quality requires this kind of investment.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Don't expect them to create the entire platform from beginning to end. We made that mistake, and it took us a lot of time to develop specifications for all the modules. ADASOFT helped us do it, but being prepared is very useful for not wasting time.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They created this platform that allowed our users to:

• Create their own event web page (No code)
• Manage invitations to the event
• Create real and cash wedding wislists
• Scrap gifts from other websites
• Refer to earn platform

We contacted them, and we had several meetings. They explained to us the process and signed the contract. After the upfront payment, they started the project and gave us updates very often. At the end they deliverd the code, the platform, video tutorials and support, so we made the final payment

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We became the most advanced wedding wishlist platforms, we have more than 150 allies, clients of all latin america and happy clients

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Deadlines were a must, and they did it pretty well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They should be more popular, it was not easy to find a reliable vendor like them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When we asked for a few changes, they told us that it would make the project to delay 2 days. We did not like that, but I think it's understandable

We required a custom software. It included a web platform and mobile app for Android and IOS. Our software is a social network for learning and teaching about any topic. It has 3 main moduls:

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They showed us proffesionalism. They were not cheap compared to other providers, but we realized that a high quality software required a good investment ammount. At the end, we are very pleased, as we received more than we expected.

They designed a PHP baes platform, using Yii2 framework and developed a cross-platform app based on Ionic. It's data base is managed on PosgreSQL. The process was simple:

It included 1 SCRUM master, 2 senior developers 1 junior developer and 1 web designer

We received the code, its documentation, and support for 3 months. We got clients from 5 new cities, and we are growing our community

The time they asked was too much for us. But at the end, we understood it was a hige work, and they did not only guarantee its performance, but aldo its security

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very honest, they gave me updates at every moment of any news of the project, regardless if it was negative or positive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could work on deliverying projects a little bit quicker.
