Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Menno Place, a senior living community in British Columbia. We offer residential care, assisted living, home support, and independent living for 700 residents, focusing on compassionate, holistic care in a Christian environment.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Adaptive?

We needed support for our IT infrastructure management, strategy planning, and cybersecurity.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Adaptive manages our IT infrastructure and advises us on purchases, SaaS leases, cybersecurity, and IT strategy. The team has delivered a strategy plan, reports on equipment use, and software system implementations, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft Teams.

What is the team composition?

I'm unsure how many teammates from Adaptive are assigned to our project.

How did you come to work with Adaptive?

They were already contracted when I started working at Menno Place. We chose them because of their high ratings.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2023, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Adaptive's project plan illustrates KPIs. For example, their capital budget plan has allowed us to get the right equipment for the right budget, supporting increased operational efficiencies.

How did Adaptive perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via email and messaging apps. Adaptive delivers on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I meet quarterly with Stefan (CEO) personally.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything for now.

I’m the director of administration at New Vista Society, a non-profit organization. We provide care home, housing, and adult day care services, partnering with families and organizations to create a compassionate, evidence-based environment for residents and clients.

We needed IT support.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Adaptive manages staff inquiries and provides service desk system support. The team has also replaced our computer hardware and is in the process of replacing our WiFi access points.

What is the team composition?

We work with 2–5 teammates from Adaptive.

How did you come to work with Adaptive?

Adaptive was already working with New Vista when I started.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Adaptive has ensured a seamless transition from replacing the old computer hardware with new equipment, resulting in low downtime and faster computers. The team has also made our staff happy.

How did Adaptive perform from a project management standpoint?

Adaptive delivers on time. We communicate via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and emails or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Adaptive’s quick response time, friendly service, and educated staff are impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.
