We hired Adamo Software for website development full service. Adamo would help us with providing website domain hosting, designing UX/UI, back-end code, and importing data. We expect that the website would bring back growth in website traffic, customer and revenue

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We want to change our product to integrate the crypto feature. We need to build a brand-new website for the company while the personnel of the in-house technical team is still limited. The BOD decided to outsource a technical team to handle the website development and chose Adamo Software - a reliable IT outsourcing company in Vietnam via a referral from one of our partners. We also had a check-up on Clutch and saw that Adamo receives a high ranking, good feedback, and a reasonable price for us.

We need a team meeting every week to check up for the progress. We and Adamo Team decided to use PHP to code the backend of the website, WordPress to publish content, Figma to design the UX/UI. We also installed some small features such as chat box, voice search.

There were 2 members from Adamo to work with us. One was in charge of back-end coding, and technical stuffs, one was a UX/UI designer.

After launching the new website, we have seen a 60% rise in the traffic and 30% potential customers. Our customers also gave us good feedback on the website such as smooth loading, supportive features.

We had no difficulty in communication among the team actually. Our tasks and deadlines were handled on Notion application so that all team members could follow the progress.

What challenge were you trying to address with Adamo Digital?

We hired Adamo Digital to handle our company's mobile development and engineering infrastructure project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Adamo Digital was responsible for our app’s development and UI/UX design work. Our platform would allow users to split the cost of a hotel room with other travelers. They also helped us get our app posted on the App Store and Play Store. On top of that, they ensured that we had a website storefront showcasing our product. I recently rehired them again for another company I was creating.

I worked with Adamo Digital's whole team.

How did you come to work with Adamo Digital?

I came across Adamo Digital when I was in the middle of an engineering project in Vietnam and was looking to hire a development company. I found them through reading about the tech space in Vietnam. When I gave them my plan, we spent a lot of time together building everything out. Overall, they were receptive so we decided to partner with them.

We collaborated together from April–August 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Adamo Digital was a great team. They always finished their work on time, and they offered reasonably priced services. We didn’t have any delays with the project because they diligently worked on iterations, design work implementations, and more.

Furthermore, the team completed their deliverables in an efficient manner. However, we had to shut down our hotels because of COVID-19. Despite that, we were able to quickly pivot into another company and the team helped us again with that new project.

How did Adamo Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They had a fantastic project management process. We were in touch every day. To us, they were more than an outsourcing team — we felt that they were part of our company. Furthermore, I was very hands-on with them so I had a close relationship with their team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Adamo Digital was very detail-oriented. For example, when I sent them a design for a project, they’d give me several functionality examples and summarize their best suggestions. After that, it was just up to us to decide which one we'd implement.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they didn’t have any areas to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

For those who are not based in Vietnam, the timezone difference may be challenging. If that’s the case, you could work the night shift or send them requirements during the day.

In connection with that, try to map out as much information regarding your requirements, more so if you’re going to just leave requirements with them. In that way, there would be no questions regarding their deliverables.

I'm the co-founder and CEO of Airguides. Airguides is a platform where people can book trips created by the world's best storytellers. We're a B2C platform that uses incredible content, to sell people their dream holidays in Australia and New Zealand.

For what projects/services did your company hire Adamo Digital, and what were your goals?

Our website was written in PHP and Bootstrap framework and needed a complete re-design. Our design team wanted to highlight incredible photography and video content in a beautifully designed UI.

Alongside the UI, we have a custom-built PHP CMS which Adamo was also asked to upgrade. Finally, our website is hosted in AWS and uses S3 to host all our content. This was also a requirement in the upgrade.

SOLUTION

How did you select Adamo Digital and what were the deciding factors?

We did an extensive cost/benefit analysis of companies based in Australia, as well as other countries around the world. Adamo were shortlisted in this process and the final decision to use Adamo was based on references we received through our CTO.

Frontend - Complete rebuild using HTML5 and CSS. Backend - Upgrade using PHP Storage - Complete rewrite of our scripts both storing and pulling from S3 servers and hosting - Improve server performance in AWS.

Kevin (Founder & CEO) initially helped with project specifications, budget, and timelines. Dung and Khiem - developers assigned to our project for both front- and backend, Viet - testing and support.

Our SEO score has improved by over 40% in both speed and best practice. User feedback in our testing has been rating at 9+ out of 10. This is up from 6 on the old site.

Our project team used Slack for main communication with Bitbucket and Trello. We ran the project in a weekly sprint format so communication was daily, with weekly project updates.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Definitely the quality of code, and speed of delivery. I've been involved in many web projects and rarely see them delivered on schedule and under budget. I'm very happy to say our project met both.

Adamo Digital not only met our specifications, they actually exceeded my expectations. Some extra scope items were even added and fit within the project schedule. Alongside this the communication from the team was excellent.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think of any. I'm very happy to recommend Adamo Digital to anyone.
