Acute SEO provided web development from scratch, including the coding; now, they’re doing keyword research and SEO for us. The efforts also include backlinking to associated websites that we partner with.

What is the team composition?

We work primarily with Derrick (Owner), and he then delegates to his team. Whenever I want things added to the site or anything related to structuring, I call Dereck or one of their members, and they’ll take care of my requests.

How did you come to work with Acute SEO?

We chose them because they outrank all of their local competitors.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent around $15,000 with them so far with all the different tasks they’ve been doing.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2021, and the engagement is ongoing — I can see this partnership lasting far into the future.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our online activity and visibility as a business have doubled compared to before engaging with Acute SEO. Also, people are always talking about the great online presence we have, and they’re finding us thanks to Derek’s efforts.

How did Acute SEO perform from a project management standpoint?

I couldn’t be happier. No other firm that I’ve worked with compares to their ability to communicate and execute with great attention to detail. I’m constantly amazed by their work and capacity to deliver our requirements promptly — I can call them in the morning to ask them for something, and they’ll have it done within the afternoon. They also send me emails to keep me updated on the progress of the tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their expeditious service, execution, and communications are the main things that make them top-notch — Acute SEO is unmatched in that category. Choosing them has been a great choice; they’ve been doing a great job for us since we started working together.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — I’m a hard client to please, and I can say that they’re perfect and exceeded my expectations.

What challenge were you trying to address with Acute SEO?

The challenge we had prior to hiring Acute was we were having trouble changing, or getting rid of an old Google account that was sending our customers to an old address. When they finally got rid of that problem for me, we had the opportunity for them to get us on the first page of Google.

Ever since I hired them, within two weeks, we were on the first page of Google and we haven’t left.

I originally hired Acute SEO for SEO, but the website company we previously hired didn’t always get things done the way I needed in an exceptional amount of time. Derek (Owner) and his team already had complete access to our website since we hired them, so they were able to conquer all the tasks that the previous company couldn’t tackle.

Apart from that, they went above and beyond to get our old Google account deleted and provided us with updates on my website.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Before we would be on the fourth or fifth page of Google, now we’re consistently on the first page for many of the keywords that pertain to our business.

How did Acute SEO perform from a project management standpoint?

We initially did a lot of phone calls, and then any time I had something, I would email them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The best part about working with Acute is they’re very easy to contact. They respond to my emails quickly, they’re very friendly, and they do exactly what they say they’re going to do — they go above and beyond what they’re paid to do. Acute SEO has been the best company I’ve ever partnered with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they don’t have to improve on anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I wouldn’t have any advice for anybody because there’s nothing I can complain about with Acute SEO. They’ve been wonderful.

Acute SEO helped us dramatically improve our organic placement on Google as well as Google Maps. We were not appearing anywhere prior to their work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

When I first spoke with Derek (Founder), he did a lot for us. He helped us with business listings across the board.  We had two locations and a change of address as well, so we had a lot for him to clean up. He helped us strategize how to promote both locations. He brought us into the playing field and made us competitive in our marketplace.

He does the SEO, he manages the ratings and reviews, and he provides us with an account to help us with manager listings. He also manages our website’s contact service – although he is not our web designer he is in constant communication with that team. He’s definitely capable with WordPress.

Derek is my main point of contact, but I know he has other people behind the scenes.

Our web company referred us to him. I interviewed him and I interviewed his clients. They said, “Derek changed my life, I wouldn’t be in business if it wasn’t for him”.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We weren’t ranking at all before. Now, we’re number one organic always — beating out home advisors and other websites. We’re also always on the maps page. We’ve knocked lots of competitors off.

How did Acute SEO perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re immediate and responsive. If I send Derek an email, he’s calling me within five minutes. He goes above and beyond on communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

He’s original in his thinking and an expert at what he does. He’s always working to learn. Probably because it’s his own company, he takes true accountability for our success. It matters to him.

It’s a big expense for us, but it’s worth it. We’re very happy.

We needed to improve our online presence, which would lead to increased revenue. When customers search on Google, we wanted to land in the top results.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Acute SEO directs the processes involved in getting our website to the top of Google searches organically. Derrick (Founder, Acute SEO) first asked questions about our goals and our specific business, developing an understanding that we’re an escape room company that also branches into unique activities. That helped them to determine the keywords that customers type into Google. For example, we want to rank for ‘escape rooms near me’ in our area. For each respective area, their team presented a handful of different key terms and searches. While Derrick focuses on SEO initiatives, he also gives advice about web development and PPC efforts.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Acute SEO achieved our goals across the board. They didn’t only promote one location but also our eight locations, which pop up at the top of the search page. Their team’s contributions to our company are a key part of our success. Derrick’s well-versed in a variety of areas such as web development and PPC strategies.

How did Acute SEO perform from a project management standpoint?

For the most part, we communicate via Skype calls and Joing.me to share presentations. When we have events in Nevada, Derrick comes to show his support. That’s not part of his job description, but he wants to support us. They pick up calls and respond to emails quickly. They always get back to us immediately. When he doesn’t have an answer, he’ll make calls and find the answer for us. They’re extremely professional. Acute SEO explains their processes thoroughly. They’re always on point for their timeframes. It’s rare to find a company that’s 100% on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Overall, Acute SEO’s team is hardworking and dependable. Those are two qualities that are difficult to find in today’s day and age. That speaks volumes about their team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not at all. We have no complaints when it comes to Acute SEO’s work.

Make sure that you know your goals exactly. If you identify the results that you want, it will help Acute SEO determine the best route to take. Understand yourself and your goals before you get on the phone with any SEO team.

At first, we started by discussing strategies and identifying relevant keywords for our business. Then, they got to work. Acute SEO & Web Design has created a lot of content for our blog and web pages. Basically, the only content we have written is the product descriptions.

They've also suggested a unique approach for our blog, and have occasionally helped me with web design but mainly focus on SEO. They continue to update my website.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When we hired them around three years ago, we were on the 15th page of Google, and now we’re in the top three results. We originally started with a goal of reaching the first page of Google within six months, and they achieved it. Besides, their unique approach to managing our blog has contributed to our keyword ranking success on Google Maps.

On the other hand, since partnering with Acute SEO & Web Design, our sales have increased by 100%–500%. Their team has helped us rank number one for almost all major keywords on Google Maps for the last year and a half. Moreover, we have seen a 300%–400% jump in conversions since we partnered with them.

How did Acute SEO & Web Design perform from a project management standpoint?

So far, they have met deadlines and stayed within our agreed-upon budget. They have been on point. We communicate mostly through phone calls, using Zoom and email occasionally. That way, if I get an update for the website or lose a blog post, I can reach out to them.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Derrick has been very involved with everything. He's been very available for me, helped me, and guided me through the process since the beginning when it was hard to know what was going on. It took time to see results, but in the meantime, he explained how it would get better.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most important thing for me is results. If a company can give me the results that I want and prove that I need them, then I will stay with them. Since Acute SEO & Web Design is an SEO company, I measure them by their results, which have satisfied me so far.

Furthermore, their communication is impressive. If anything happens or if I call them, even during off-hours, they will reach out. They have never left me with questions, which usually happens with other companies. I get confused a lot, and in previous experiences, the companies didn't soothe my worries or show me a confident approach to take care of the issue.

However, it hasn't been like that with Acute SEO & Web Design. I have really liked how they are always available and explain where the project is going, making it clear to someone who doesn't know much about their field. Not to mention, they have never overpromised and have always delivered on what they say.

There’s nothing I’d have them improve.

Just speak with Derrick. He knows a lot and will guide you in a good way. Give it time because SEO takes time. Be patient in the first few months.
