Anytime any of our employees need IT support, Abtech was there and provided the necessary solutions to take of whatever IT issues we needed assistance. They are timely and accurate in providing the support. One example is when he had an CRM software they were onboard in providing the necessary assistance until the upgrade was complete.

When my employees gave me feedback that were receiving the support they need to function in their jobs. The positive feedback was continual.

I am an IT business systems manager for a semiconductor manufacturing company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Abtech Technologies?

We needed to replace an internal IT resource; we’ve hired Abtech Technologies to act as our maintenance partner for our HP hardware.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We onboarded their team, which took about 4–6 weeks. Abtech Technologies works specifically with Oracle, hardware, HP, and Linux system administration. The team provides us with remote support, but they have local resources to support us with hardware issues. 

What is the team composition?

We work with a primary systems engineer and a hardware systems engineer when needed. 

How did you come to work with Abtech Technologies?

Based on their resources, we thought they would be a good fit to support our existing infrastructure. We looked at a few other organizations but decided to move forward with Abtech Technologies.

We’ve invested between $200,000–$1 million. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since beginning work with Abtech Technologies, we haven’t had any unscheduled downtime; this has been extremely helpful for our company. Our team is happy with the work they’re providing, and the quality is extremely high. 

How did Abtech Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They work quickly and meet deadlines. We use email, phone calls, and text to communicate with Abtech Technologies. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

We want to shout out Brian (Senior Database Consultant); he supplies wonderful support and is highly knowledgeable. If there are any major issues to solve, he works with us to take care of everything. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They provide a very specific service for us, and they’ve been great for the past five years. The team is responsive and highly available.

There’s nothing we can come up with at this point.

What challenge were you trying to address with Abtech Technologies?

Our existing Windows servers and storage needed replacing and updating to the latest stable version and we needed skilled resources to do the upgrades.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Abtech designed the VxRail solution in partnership with our Dell team and provided full deployment services.  The Abtech team also assisted us with our Microsoft licensing and upgraded our servers to the current Windows version.

We have purchased hardware and Services from them previously.

Completed successfully.

We were very happy with the work Abtech performed.  There were able to help us to fix a Microsoft licensing issue and gave us access to their highly skilled VMware and Microsoft engineers.

Communication was excellent and the project was completed quickly and efficiently.

Their engineers are very knowledgeable.  I also like working with our Account Managers.  They were always available when I needed anything.  I am also impressed with the range of services Abtech can offer us.

Abtech Technologies designed a solution that allowed us to improve performance by nearly 500% that included the latest technologies. In addition, we built a second system as a business continuity failover system using software for data replication.
