The team behind Abacus Plus showed expertise, hard work, and effort and easily adapted when the product roadmap wasn't clearly defined upfront. Their flexibility was great for the stage of our development. We collaborated through agile methodology as an integrated team with internal Scrum Master and developers. Abacus Plus team had clear communication and dedication to the project. 

APP DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT:

• user interface design ideation and delivery of the final design for an audio app 
• implementation of OTA (over-the-air) updates 
• EAS (Expo) build automation through App Store
• TestFlight testing workflows

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As a result of this collaboration, dozens of the client's student testers have positively reflected on the modern and fresh interface design. Visual quality is important for retaining new customers and giving them a pleasant usage experience. We've been able to deploy our app to the App Store and, in closed testing, activate members on our waiting list, as well as receive important feedback for improving our product.

Despite the holiday season, they ensured a swift transfer of tasks to another team, which did not halt our project. That tells all about how much Abacus Plus cares to keep clients' projects active and on schedule. Project management was done through our ClickUp platform, which they were already familiar with, and with Mahir as a project manager who promptly reacted to our requests and coordinated his team.

In terms of project management and programming, they were open to sharing knowledge and writing/documenting the processes to make the takeover much easier and that our internal developers get more experience out of this collaboration.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Good spirit, eagerness to improve and further educate their employees and support them in career growth. Including young bright minds with enthusiasm and keeping professionalism in place.

Are there any areas for improvement or something  Abacus Plus could have done differently?

As an inexperienced client, we were not ready with all the necessary documentation ahead of time. Abacus Plus could have helped us by addressing this at the start of our collaboration in terms of helping us understand their standards of product documentation. However, through sprint meetings and later guidance, it was easy to communicate the epics and user stories and stir the project in the right direction.

very clearly defined preparation steps. first we work on preparing the design. During the work, I can follow the progress on the link above, and after that we define together when we move on to development. communication is fast and efficient

after the completion of the online shop and the release online, we received a much larger number of requests for offers. people could view our offer and online catalog. we emphasized very well all the boosters for sale and that helped us a lot to gain the trust of the customers. the guys from Abacu plus understand very well what the goal is and they understand the behavior of customers, so during work they give excellent suggestions that lead to a greater number of calls from customers

through the online tool clickup, I can track all tasks, I can emphasize how eager I am for something. deadlines are on time and they respond quickly. I am very satisfied with their service.

if one of our colleagues can't do a task, I don't have to complain and give criticism, they just pass the task on to another colleague who continues immediately. great organization of tasks

it would be great if semir could come in once a week and review our online shot and give us advice on improving the ux design and customer experience. one of his tips a week for improvement
