We did a complete customized website with Aatoon. Following are the key developments we had requested, 

1. Approval Hierarchy - User to select items like on any other e-commerce platform and then submit requests to their line manager for approval. The hierarchy comprises of multi level of approval. 
2. Separate catalogue / brand stores 
3. Save multiple carts for later purchase 
4. Custom shopping cart with option to download carts in excel, pdf.
5. Customised "Order History" page where the users can view the progress their submitted order.

We had set a target of going live in Jan 2024 which was comfortably achieved.

I have been in website development and digital marketing since 1997. Around 2008, I began working with a team who eventually formed Aatoon Solutions. My agency relies on Aatoon Solutions for WordPress and Magento site development.

Digital Bombers partners with Aatoon for all custom WordPress and Magento development. The current project is a great example of the quality of work and partnership Aatoon provides. Digital Bombers gained a client in early 2022 that wanted an eCommerce site to sell auto parts for a specific industry.

The site is massive - it houses more products than any other eCommerce site I have ever managed in my career. We are currently working with 126,000 products and have around 50,000 more to load. The product count is impressive, but the product data is automatically updated weekly from two separate data providers.

The inventory and pricing is automatically loaded every hour. Our client is a distributor for around 70 manufacturers, so the site is built to leverage multiple drop-shipping companies and the logic assigns drop shippers based on the best shipping rate for the consumer. The biggest challenge is that all three data providers provide bad data on a regular basis. The issues are seldom consistent, and with 125,000 products, it's nearly impossible to manually adjust the data.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Aatoon has been extremely patient and flexible in accounting for these issues, and the site is impressive. Not only have they been able to resolve the data issues, we have been able to identify bugs in multiple Magento extensions.

A site of this magnitude is going to pressure test every single aspect, and I hold a very high level of standard for user experience, but Aatoon continues to deliver. Their flexibility and understanding in situations like these is why Digital Bombers has partnered with them for years, and will continue to do so in the future.

Brand strategy Logo creation, branding, style guide Magento 2 Approximately 175,000 SKUs from three data management companies Multiple drop shippers required Custom shipping rules for each drop shipper Email marketing integration and automation Aatoon built the site, created three data import systems.

Two run weekly, one runs hourly. They found bugs and other issues in multiple Magento 2 extensions. They have had to resolve issues with data that the data management companies cannot resolve.

The site will be launching soon, but our client is extremely impressed with the site. Digital Bombers will be creating a case study from this project because of the complex setup and massive size of the site. We will be submitting the site for multiple awards in 2023.

AGILE. Beyond agile - flexible, constant communication, and they adapt to changes with the data, manufacturers, and client needs as quickly as I can explain the updates.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Every aspect is impressive. I have extremely high standards for every site we create, and at times I get stressed. Aatoon is always there to provide answers, they keep things calm, and they ALWAYS deliver quality work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Our company has been established for years, but we have not implemented platforms and processes to track tasks and communicate updates. I didn't help any of this - my communication would be through Slack, many tasks lists were provided on Slack too, but others were in our project management system.

I think Aatoon could have just told me what we needed to do in order to make things easier on them because my approach must be confusing without the right platforms!

The team was extremely patient to understand my requirements. To my surprise, they were also willing to experiment with different designs and functionalities. We had to go and back forth many times to figure out which version works best and the team Aatoons patiently cooperated during all such iterations. They are experts in coming up with creative designs. The team is well-versed in the different functionalities of WordPress and can build high-performing e-commerce websites from scratch.

Aatoon Solutions were selected following an in-depth discussion with them about our requirements. It became clear that they understood our needs and could design the website as we envisaged.
