I am the Group CFO and Managing Director of two Business Divisions. Our business is a diversified conglomerate and having more than 1000 employees.

Dubai is the regional business hub for the perfume industry. We were exploring the option for backward integration of our supply chain and at the same time, we were exploring the business opportunities to sell our products in the Indian market as well.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to know the supply chain in India so we can outsource our production facilities in India in order to minimize our production cost. Second, we wanted to know the Indian Market so can launch our products for the Indian market through distribution channel.

How did you select this vendor?

I am being a Chartered Accountant, having a strong professional network in Delhi / India, he was referred by one of my senior professional colleagues. After going through his proposal and suggested methodology, we deiced to avail his services for this project.

After our engagement agreement, we had a series of telephonic calls to discuss our goals and objectives. Within the first month, we received a draft Feasibility Report. Afterward, I visited his office in Delhi and finalized it.

What was the team composition?

I was liaising with the Project Manager directly. I was made aware that there were other staff and freelancers who were working on this project as well.

Feasibility Report was quite exhaustive and the action plan was clearly defined.
