9Mills has been our technology partner since August 2025. They built the EZR Mobile platform, rebuilt it to serve multiple industries, and handle our ongoing development and support. 1. Original platform build They built our dealer web app and the mobile porter flows our lot staff use to manage vehicles and attach QR stickers to cars. 2. Rebuilding the platform for multiple industries They restructured the system around accounts, locations and items, so one platform now handles auto dealers, RVs and boats, real estate, local businesses and parking. More than 22,000 vehicles were moved into the new structure without disturbing live QR stickers. Leads now go to both the individual agent and the main contact for that location. 3. QR code and inventory tools They built tools to create QR codes in batches, attach them to vehicles or listings, unbind them, and move a sticker from one car to another straight from the porter app. They connected our dealer inventory feed so vehicle pages show details and video. They also added similar vehicle suggestions on each vehicle page. 4. Text messaging and compliance They built a text blast tool with a request and approval flow, targeting by location or keyword, and brought our existing list of around 180,000 subscribers into it. They added proper STOP and opt out handling across every keyword, plus the compliance message on first contact that our old system never sent. They also worked through CARS Act requirements with us and our SMS provider. 5. Infrastructure and data They moved us completely off AWS onto accounts we own and migrated our full database of more than 600,000 records, checking every record before the switch. They also cut lead search from about 90 seconds to about 8. 6. Website and sales tools They replaced our old WordPress site with a new marketing website built from our brand board. It has a section for each vertical, pricing tables, one clear demo request path and an ROI calculator for dealers. They also set up a sales demo with sample vehicles, example listings for each vertical and a dedicated batch of demo QR codes. 7. Ongoing support They handle bug fixes and new feature requests as our dealers raise them, and several fixes have gone live the same day.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

They delivered the scope we provided and it works. 

Since inception we have gone from a vehicle only system to one platform serving dealers, RVs and boats, real estate, businesses and parking. 9Mills migrated more than 600,000 records with every one checked, moved over 22,000 vehicles into the new structure, cut lead search from about 90 seconds to about 8, and moved us completely off AWS. Our 180,000 subscribers can now be reached through a compliant text blast tool, and several issues we reported were fixed the same day. 

Jay & Uzair has been our main point of contact from the start, and we hold regular calls to review progress and set priorities. The team is very responsive. Messages get quick replies, and several fixes have gone live the same day we reported them. They have also been patient with us, taking us through technical decisions as many times as we needed and adjusting as our priorities changed. When we report an issue, they find the root cause instead of patching around it. When we bring new ideas, they come back with a clear plan and cost before starting. Recently they built a feature to move a QR sticker from one car to another, and I tested it live myself.

What stands out most is Uzair’s speed, agility and the quality of his work. When we raise an issue or a new idea on a call, he often has it built or fixed the same day, and he adapts quickly when our priorities change. The quality shows in the details. Our database migration of more than 600,000 records was checked record by record before the switch, and our lead search went from about 90 seconds to about 8. Having someone that fast who still gets it right is rare.

Honestly, not much. As our business keeps growing into new markets, we look forward to building even more with them. Their team has been flexible and responsive throughout, and we would happily keep working with 9Mills on whatever comes next.

Detailed scope of work 9Mills is HammerLoop's technology and growth partner. It owns the product, builds it, runs it, and markets it.

• Product and design: 9Mills turns HammerLoop's goals into a roadmap and designs the worker and employer experience end to end. That includes onboarding flows, profile completion, job matching and a shared design system across web and mobile.
• Web and mobile development: The team built the platform on Next.js, Node.js and MongoDB, with Flutter apps for iOS and Android. Workers create profiles with their trade, location and hourly pay, then search jobs by location and radius. Employers post jobs with a set pay or a pay range and find matching workers. Features include social sign in, one time passcode login, push notifications, messaging and full Spanish localisation.
• Admin panel: 9Mills built a management console so the HammerLoop team can oversee workers, employers and job activity without developer help. SMS engine: The team built automated texts for job alerts, account updates and reminders to finish a profile, sent in each user's language. It handles opt in consent tracking and A2P 10DLC registration so messages meet US carrier rules.
• Infrastructure and releases: HammerLoop is hosted on AWS with automated deployments. 9Mills runs regular releases to production and the app stores, plus QA, monitoring and security upkeep.
• Analytics: The team set up event tracking across the worker and employer journeys, along with ad pixels and conversion events, so every marketing channel can be measured.
• Growth marketing: 9Mills plans and runs paid campaigns on Google, Meta and Reddit, with trade specific landing pages, email marketing and organic social. The team also builds CJ Simmons' founder presence on LinkedIn. All of it supports HammerLoop's Austin, Texas launch in October 2026.
• Ongoing partnership: The work runs on weekly strategy syncs with HammerLoop's founders and daily development standups.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

HammerLoop runs live on the web, iOS and Android, fully in English and Spanish, and has more than 3,000 registered workers. 9Mills took the product from concept to a platform workers use to find construction jobs by trade, location and pay, and employers use to post jobs and reach matched workers. Email campaigns brought in the first employer signups, and paid social is now adding more.
The SMS engine sends job alerts and profile reminders in each worker's language, and it's registered to meet US carrier rules. Every step from signup to job match is tracked, so HammerLoop can see which channel brings in which users. With regular production releases and ongoing support, the platform is ready for its Austin, Texas market launch in October 2026.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found most impressive and reassuring was the adoption and commitment to my vision, and attention to the detail that requires the excecution of it.  As a non-technical founder, I felt like my mere 'ideas', were substantially handled.  They explained the technical aspects at every step of the way, and constantly conveyed the technical means that I did not know. 
I am an entrepreneur, not a coder or programmer.  In addition to that, their ability to market with precise measure was something I never anticipated.  If not for 9mills, HammerLoop would never had become a reality. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something 9MILLS could have done differently?

My only suggestion is for other founders: use 9Mills as a partner, not just a developer. The more we brought them into strategy and planning, the more value we got out of them.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

My name is Mark Albright. I am reviewing the company 9Mills about a project of mine that I named "Crack the Boards." It is a board review for chiropractic students to become familiar with national board exams. I started this project about 15 plus years ago. I arrived at the point where I wanted to put it on an app and so I got online and I came across an AI app builder, "Base 44." It seemed fine at the time and I thought it was going well for me. I got stuck on a few places and so I searched to find an answer to some of the problems as Base 44 was not answering them or could not answer them. That is when I came across 9Mills. It was a Sunday afternoon and I left a message for 9Mills. Later that day, a gentlemen, Sam, called me on the phone. I wasn’t able to answer nor was I expecting a response that same day, let alone a Sunday. Sam left a phone number and I called back the next day. Sam set up an online meeting with himself, Jay, and me. We discussed what the software would look like. At the time I had no idea how intricate, detailed, and how spectacular it would look and feel. After our first meeting, I had to compare Base 44 to 9Mills. If I were to use a scale of 1-10, I would put 9Mills at a 25 and Base 44 about a 2. It was that much of a difference. I was able to speak and work with a live person with 9Mills whereas Base 44 was all online. 9Mills took my idea, expanded on it, and brought it to life better than I had ever imagined. Every question I asked, they were able to answer. They took my vision and brought it to life. We met on a weekly basis and sometimes twice a week and built something that I never imagined or envisioned. If I had a question, I would text and within minutes, I would get a response. I originally wanted to market to one demographic, but they opened my mind to see multiple avenues of which to market my product. The amount of expertise and professionalism that 9Mills demonstrated is unparalleled to anything I thought possible.
