I am the owner of IT Support 4U. We’re a managed IT support company in Dublin & Wicklow, Ireland. We provide a range of business IT solutions, cyber security and support plans that are designed to meet the specific needs of small to medium businesses.

For what projects/services did your company hire Social Gravity, and what were your goals?

We hired Social Gravity as we were hitting a wall with our marketing. They were referred onto us by Greenway Financial Services. Our goals are to double our business year on year and get 10000 endpoints unbder managment and to do this we needed a strong media presence and a really good marketing strategy.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Social Gravity came highly recommended via Greenway FS. We scheduled a meeting with Fahad and decided on the day that they were the company that were going to help us to hit our long term goal of managing 10000 endpoints.

We started with a number of discovery calls and market research into what we did and how we did it. Fahad recognised very early on that our current website was not good enough to get to where we wanted to get to and spent the first few weeks redesigning and reworking our site from the ground up. Upon completion we could see the vast difference in the two sites and have given Fahad and his team free reign to make any changes they see fit. After the foundation was set we then started on the task of building engagement and growing the page visibility. This takes a few weeks to really get going but once we hit the numbers the calls started to flow and we have not looked back since.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Before starting with Social Gravity all our business came from word of mouth and refferals. While this is a good source of businerss it is not scalable and definatly not fast. We had to have a constant stream of calls and enquiries to build the business we are looking to grow. With in the first 3 months Page visitors were up 162% and page views we up 211% on average.

Social Gravity has met all our requirements and really connected with us when we met with Fahad. We have tried other marketing companies in the past and feel Social Gravity are far superior and much more focused on what we want out of the marketing as opposed to what they can do for us.

From the start Fahad gave us realistic expectations of how long SEO takes to work. He also spent a long time getting to know us and what we wanted. We now get regular communication through email and what’s app about what he is doing and confirms if we are happy to proceed with his plan/schedule.

The communication. How they wanted to know what we wanted to do.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Social Gravity and Fahad have far exceeded our previous experience of marketing companies. We have not yet found an area for improvement.

We set our goals at the beginning of the project and worked together to achieve them. I received monthly progress reports and we had regular meetings to discuss progress.

Within a ten month period I saw significant growth in my organic position in search engine results and began receiving organic leads from my website.

Social Gravity were very well organized and easy to deal with. They were flexible and accommodating.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found most impressive was how accommodating they were. I am very particular which slowed the process down a bit, but the SG team were patient and were happy to accommodate my needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall my experience so far has been great with SG.

I searched online for a suitable for company for at least 6 months. The reason I chose Social Gravity was because they showed genuine interest in my company and were user friendly.

After Social Gravity researched our company and specific healthcare industry they my team a presentation and listened to our feedback. We came up with an initial plan to design our website, give us an online presence and a list of keywords that would help find our business.

They sent us monthly google analytics reports to show what our ranking online was and also had a face to face meeting to discuss what our next target should be.

I worked with the Social Gravity project leader, graphic designer and contents writer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within 3 months our website traffic and leads increased by 70% thanks to the Social Gravity Team which I did not think was possible.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I met the Social Gravity Team Leader each month over zoom, used shared task management software, emailed progress reports and or met face to face spoke by phone when needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed by how far our online presence designed by the Social Gravity team reached. Many clients came from several surrounding counties for our specialist services who never would have know of our existence without our online presence.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

To be honest i think Social Gravity met all my expectations and more!

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m one of the co-founders of EcoKaagaz. We produce eco-friendly papers and products and have two business models.

First, we work directly with our customers who want finished goods from us. On the other hand, we work with business customers in two regions. One deals with paper converters, which procure paper from us and then convert it into finished products to distribute it to their retail clients or directly to customers. The others are businesses that want us to finish the products for them. They provide us with their requirements, and then we get the finished products to them.

Our papers are made up of textile waste and are biodegradable, making them environmentally friendly. Also, since they’re handmade, we use less energy and water consumption.

We’re currently targeting more bespoke stationery, which comprises notebooks and diaries. Other than that, we have luxury market paper bags and gift boxes. Additionally, we deal with many customers who want us to provide them with greeting cards and envelopes — specifically artists who wish to display their art in greeting cards. We’re also moving towards promotional gifts for the corporate industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with Social Gravity?

We’re a fairly new startup, so we needed help with SEO. We wanted more organic advertising for the company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Social Gravity handles our SEO compliances, online and offline services, and backlinking. They’ve also improved our Google ranking, optimized our website, and enhanced our categories for online shopping, such as our products.

Additionally, they’ve refurbished all the content already on the website so it’s better optimized to improve our Google ranking.

We work with the owner. He takes my feedback, has calls with me, and arranges all the reports and data.

Fahad (SEO Specialist) and I belong to the same business network.

We’ve spent around €2,500 (approximately $2,900 USD).

The project began in May 2021, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s a very niche product, but it’s picking up in the market all over the world. However, it’s very difficult for people to engage with new suppliers due to the pandemic.

Nonetheless, Fahad and his team have made an effort to improve our Google ranking, and they’re doing an excellent job with that. The keywords that they’ve used have been good. He has given me a few blogs, which will be helpful long-term. In the long run, I’m sure it’ll bring value to the market and the company.

How did Social Gravity perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done well. There are no issues when it comes to deadlines.

We have monthly meetings, and Fahad gives me a review of what was done for the month. If I have had any other requirements or changes, I communicate them directly to him. He makes sure it’s delivered to his team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their work has been impressive. Our sector is very niche, so we don’t have a comparison on how well they’ve performed, but we’re satisfied with their work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can improve on their communication. Other than that, they should take more initiative when they discuss requirements with the client. Once the work has been discussed, they meet all the deadlines — the discussion part is the one that takes a bit of time and sometimes causes delays.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Discuss what you’re looking for with Social Gravity. Give them as much information as possible because that helps to have clear communication between the team.

The Traditional Business Model was face-to-face selling. With Covid everything changed, the effective way to reach clients needed a digital presence and generate leads to run the business effectively. We had a web presences but very basic, the goal was to develop a more effective website work on SEO to develop organic inquiries as well.

I met Fahad from Social Gravity through Business Network International. Looked at the work Social Gravity had done in terms of the case studies and met 2 clients who gave excellent feedback after taking on the company as a client.

Foremost was a discovery session that Fahad had scheduled where we went through what our business is about, what do we do, who are our target audience, what are their needs and what challenges are facing as a business. Social Gravity took that on board, came back with a plan and steps involved gave a time line.

The main goals was to develop a website that more appealing to the clients we are targeting and s work on SEO that could generate inquiries in 6 -12 months time frame.

We mainly worked with 2 people Fahad as the main person and his web developer. There were people in the back ground who are doing different part to complete the project but didn't have face to face interaction with them.

Very Happy with the result so far. First of all, have a functional and well designed website. Got very positive feed back from the clients on the website. It gives a clear message of what we do and who we are looking to target. Secondly, SEO is a long term strategy and takes time, but have started to get inquiries on that end.

In terms of project management, we found it be seamless. Mean communications were through Email, phone and had serval sessions on zoom. As with project management things don't always go 100%, so there were changes which were well received and implemented.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Two aspects one who communication, found them to be very responsive and would reply with a business day. They were great listeners and were open to feedback. Second, reporting, there were several reports showing we were at any particular time and overall progress.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Well since based in the same area would have preferred more face to face interaction but with covid restrictions that was not possible, but with technology and time leverage aspect online video calls were great.

Very positive we are getting leads now & then organic referrals from these leads. The not relying on one lead stream important.

Very well structured. You have a free introduction call were they try & understand your business. Then go away & recommend a strategy. It is not here you go one size fits all they did competitor analysis for me with keyword research. I liked they used asana internally & I have the project plan with deliverables, deadlines & who was responsible.

The vendor really wanted to understand my business. Other vendors just wanted to sell me something straight away.

Not that I can think off.
