500 Designs helped us revamp our website to better connect with our growing younger audience. In addition to redesigning the site and implementing an SEO strategy, they also updated our logo.

One of the main reasons we decided to revamp our website was the high bounce rate from our marketing campaign. Visitors often had trouble finding the information they needed. Since the site launch, our analytics show a noticeable improvement.

The first part was to create a branding that could fit the company. They proposed us different moods and then created the website framework. 500Designs were able to take our ideas/ visions and built a website we are proud of.

We generally worked with the project manager but had contact with a few designers as well as the CEO.

Being a small startup, our website helped us create trust and attracted many prospects. We created visibility which was our goal.

Very effective. We had close proximity and were almost anytime available. They listened closely to our ideas and applied them. They were ready to modify and change anything until we were happy.

The ability to understand what we wanted, their reactivity. They were really great at communicating with us and had a lot of patience.

Their service is still rather expensive but in our opinion worth idea. Great quality.

We were warmly introduced by one of our key advisors about the work Steve and his team were doing.

Once we chose 500 designs, we had multiple onboarding sessions to walkthrough the problem space, where our head was at with feedback from users, and key requirements. Coming out of those initial brainstorms we had weekly follow-ups to check in on progress, as well as milestone check-ins. Steve and his team were flexible, thoughtful, and able to produce quality work on time, alongside a few larger shifts on our side as they were going through this work.

We're very happy with the work 500 designs team was able to produce, even with our team needing to cut work at the end due to budget restraints. They were accommodating and understanding, and still able to deliver enough for us to move forward.

I am the CEO and lead developer at FanFit, a free social fitness app that allows fitness creators to monetize their digital content while also allowing users to be part of an immersive fitness community.

For what projects/services did your company hire 500 Designs?

We had already validated our product with a number of fitness influencers but we had no one to help bring the vision to life on paper. We hired 500 Designs to give us a unique brand image, create a custom landing page for signups, and most importantly, create the UX/UI for the app. They were in contact with us during each step of the project to make sure they were creating the vision we had in mind.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We had numerous calls with agencies, but 500 Designs stood out in the way they presented themselves and their experience. Right away we can sense their passion for what they do and it clearly shows in their final deliverable.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We needed the whole package from 500 Designs including branding, UX/UI, and a landing page. They looked at competitors to ensure our branding was uniquely identifiable and different than what was currently on the market. Most importantly, they wanted to make sure we were comfortable with the final choice. Next, and the bulk of the project came from the UX/UI designs.

They presented us with wireframes showing how the data would be displayed on each screen of the app. They had multiple team members overlooking this segment to continuously iterate in order to make every screen as user-friendly as possible. Finally, the designed and implemented the landing page which didn't involve us giving that much direction since they were so hands-on throughout the rest of the project.

My team worked alongside 500 Designs to make sure the vision was clearly defined. Their team were great listeners and adapted to changes quickly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were blown away by the final design of everything and our future customers have already given amazing feedback of the look and feel of the product. 500 Designs also made us aware that they want to be in for the long run and if future work comes up, they will gladly open a new ticket to help.

We had at least one meeting a week to iterate the vision and the team also sent us timely deliverables to look over and critique.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their communication and passion. Since our first call with Stephen, we could tell the company had passion for they did, and truly wanted to see their customers succeed. Its evident in their work as well since since each screen was iterated on multiple times until they felt it was just right. We were also first time founders and the team and no problem hopping on a call to talk about what we should be doing next in our journey. Overall, we had an amazing experience working with an amazing team.
